Ye ofc.Same on my 14PM. Only getting 8 hours of SOT on 16.1. Are you also going to 16.2 beta?
Right, because the profile isn't available on the DEV site at all right now best I can tell.I just want my beta profile back.![]()
Yeah...don't do it. Enjoy the new phone on a release version for a few days. Then subject it to the rigors of testing! And back into the fire 😆😂
Man 16.1 you were soooo sweet for 1 day 😆😂
Edit: hold my horses, ip14P arriving tomorrow, man that was close.
Ah, this is the fun stuff!Brave souls. I will be on iOS 16.1 for a little bit
Battery has been pretty bad. I’m out now and I’m following the battery as I’m near 50% and I’ve been waiting for the profiles. The battery has dropped with 20% for about an hour and a half with only music and light Safari usage. I have to charge my 14PM twice a day and that’s with light usage cuz I work and I don’t use it much during the day. So things have been really bad here.
We shouldn’t have to turn off AOD to get good battery life though. Hopefully they improve it or at least give us options to tweak how bright we want it.Facebook app?
AOD, probs still not quite right?
@Bobout turned AOD off, for the time being, and got amazing battery on his 14pro.
For real, I feel like the last beta of 16.1, the RC and the final were the worst of the bunch as far as battery life on my 13 mini. Sad!Battery has been pretty bad. So far it's been smooth on my iPhone 14 PM. Hopefully it's fixed this time, since I thought the same thing yesterday with the release of 16.1, but I was wrong.Does anyone know if this beta fixes the annoying swipe up stutter when leaving some apps on iOS 16.1 on iPhone 14 Pro? It's driving me crazy.
Many aspects of the UI are now SwiftUI-based, as well as many of the stock apps. So with the fix introduced today for SwiftUI to support ProMotion I’d expect stuff to be more fluid.Animations feel super quick and fluid even with Reduce Motion/Prefer Cross-Fade Transitions enabled. Actually this thing just feels way faster than 16.1 now that I really think about it/look at it 🤓🤩
Even for us lowly 60Hz folk?! How kind of Mr. Apple 🥲Many aspects of the UI are now SwiftUI-based, as well as many of the stock apps. So with the fix introduced today for SwiftUI to support ProMotion I’d expect stuff to be more fluid.

Ah no this is then another fix hahaEven for us lowly 60Hz folk?! How kind of Mr. Apple 🥲
