It pairs best with Reduce Motion, hence the organization in Settings. As an easily motion-sick weenie I personally love it.
Frankly, that's my fear regarding tweaking any obscure setting: unintended consequences and not being able to figure out why.Just remember you have it on as some apps can behave weirdly on it and you think/wait for an app update to fix but that never comes.
Then one day after months I stumbled across the setting again and what do you know, the apps that were misbehaving, suddenly worked perfectly again.
I haven't really run into any major issues with it as far as I can remember.Just remember you have it on as some apps can behave weirdly on it and you think/wait for an app update to fix but that never comes.
Then one day after months I stumbled across the setting again and what do you know, the apps that were misbehaving, suddenly worked perfectly again.
Maybe, but the more people who enable (and hopefully enjoy) a given feature/setting, the less obscure it becomes!Frankly, that's my fear regarding tweaking any obscure setting: unintended consequences and not being able to figure out why.
Truth !!! Delete anything to do with Facebook and turn AOD off and battery life is great..Facebook app?
AOD, probs still not quite right?
@Bobout turned AOD off, for the time being, and got amazing battery on his 14pro.
Yeah, you have to have iCloud sync turned on for sharing to work for Freeform.Has anyone figured out how to really share a Freeform project? It keeps asking me to log in to iCloud, but I am already logged into iCloud.
Awesome, thanks. In Settings, under "Apps using iCloud", toggle on Freeform.
Wait, so this didn't make the cut in 16.1 and was deferred to 16.2?Looks like an option to update to the Matter architecture has been added in the Home app

Won’t let me update until the ‘Pods are on 16.2.
Pretty sure it was soft-launched and then soft-pulled almost right away.Wait, so this didn't make the cut in 16.1 and was deferred to 16.2?
Oops, thanks for the correction and clarification.Matter devices are supported in 16.1. Home Architecture is different than just Matter or Thread support. These are all independent features and should not be combined as one thing.
I'll run a full day with AOD back on now that I deleted the problem apps and see how it does but as of right now I could almost go 36 hours or more without charging on my 14PMWe shouldn’t have to turn off AOD to get good battery life though. Hopefully they improve it or at least give us options to tweak how bright we want it.
No worries, it can be confusing. This article explains it in great detail if you're interested.Oops, thanks for the correction and clarification.
Not fixedcan anyone confirm if this is fixed? https://forums.macrumors.com/thread...ume-controls-during-call-not-working.2367160/
Has anyone activated the new Home thingy and still able to control their homekit things using non-beta devices?
post #89 to learn all about it. In short, it's very likely that any device that is running an older iOS version without the new HomeKit architecture will lose the ability to see or control HomeKit devices.Has anyone activated the new Home thingy and still able to control their homekit things using non-beta devices?
