Or iPadOS 17 maybe.I guess by the M6 sounds about right then.
Still not fixed. I’ve been greatly disappointed by the camera experience on my 14PM.Wonder if this has been fixed on the camera with ip14 pro?… delayed focus shall we call it. You literally see it reframing.

Birmingham or Carlisle?I guess by the M6 sounds about right then.
Birmingham or Carlisle?
Have you seen how AOD behaves on 16.1? I know it may not be great but I am at 5h 30m SOT with AOD enabled and used about 50% of the battery. Personally, I have not tried having it disabled all day to compare. After only 12 hrs with AOD on .. I’m usually at 80 % when I get home, I’m at 60 now so 20 % of the battery is eaten up by AOD.. I also did not use my phone much today … Like @Pearsey said earlier I like tapping my phone awake if I need something so I think ill just be done with AOD for now and get great battery life 👍🏼

I got about the same results on 16.1 RC.. I did not try on final release of 16.1 .. if you turn off AOD you will be surprised the difference with ON/OFF .. I’m sure it will get better with more releasesHave you seen how AOD behaves on 16.1? I know it may not be great but I am at 5h 30m SOT with AOD enabled and used about 50% of the battery. You would be correct. Not there in 16.1.This is kind of interesting, going off of the “Private Relay” theme: Under website/display options in Safari (accessed via the double-A button on the left of the address bar), there’s now an option to “Turn Off Hide IP Address” under “Turn Off Content Blockers.” It seems new but I’m not certain. Can anyone on 16.1 confirm or deny?
I’m pretty sure they’re reworking the menu with these options since neither is localized into Spanish (my default display language), although I believe the option to disable content blockers was in Spanish before.
Thanks for confirming. You da bomb!
Yeah, thats strange. Didn't appear until after another restart. No it’s on the phone: Settings>Accessibility >Motion>toggle “Reduce Motion” ON >toggle “Prefer cross-fade transitions” ON.
It's not a bug and it doesn't need fixWonder if this has been fixed on the camera with ip14 pro?… delayed focus shall we call it. You literally see it reframing.

What model did u Get ?5hrs on screen time.
Battery gone down 22%
WOW.
IP14P
Apps used safari, settings, YouTube, insta, camera. Brightness set at 45%. No AOD for now.
Is this still the case after a few days? ThanksI have to say, 16.2 B1 feels buttery smooth. I had the stutter when sliding home on my 14 Pro in 16.1 but dang is it smooth now.
It's not a bug and it doesn't need fix
It's because you've went too close, which is less than what its' required for the main lens to focus, then auto-macro kicked in and used the Wide lens.
You can enable manual controls in settings.
Well that didn’t work. What an ugly, clunky, stupid thing to keep on our phones for the last half decade, iOS is supposed to be clean and polished but this looks terrible.Feels like it's also kept to provide a "safe zone" so developers won't put UI stuff using that space.
Yeah I think so. Not seeing any, unless it’s a setting off, on 16.1.Did Apple start showing news articles in the weather app with this beta as of today? Doesn’t seem like there’s a way to turn it off and with the way Apple is focusing more on advertising, I’d hate for this to be the way Apple starts advertising in Weather…
Would also like to take this opportunity to help bring up if a 3rd party app that you used before to take photos are not focusing on close objects (Scanners, Social Media, OCR etc). That's purely down to the app developer to update the app which either allows you to choose the wide angle lens, or implement it to switch automatically. Thanks, appreciate that. Feels like a bug being that jumpy. I’ll give the manual a go. 👍🏼
Edit: yes. That’s worked. Thanks for the heads up on that setting.
Yeah the Nutracheck app developer has switched to the ultra wide lens from what I can see as it can scan barcodes up close now.Would also like to take this opportunity to help bring up if a 3rd party app that you used before to take photos are not focusing on close objects (Scanners, Social Media, OCR etc).
