Not to sound ungrateful, but, did we just get a few new emojis, modem & carrier bump and some new splash screens on this release?
I'm all up for a solid bug squashing update, but I thought we would have seen more from this. sigh.

🥺

New HomeKit architecture, several new Shortcut commands, more granular AOD settings in Focus mode, 5G SA are just the first few that come to my mind. Doesn't just look like new emojis to me 😉

You will take what they give you and like it!!!!!!

(Yeah, a bit underwhelming. I mentioned somewhere else that maybe this is the overhang effect of the RealityOS development)

Drives me nuts when they roll out new Shortcuts commands. They never tell you what they are.

Apple is cracking down on public access to developer configuration profiles. In future releases, you'll have to be signed into your developer Apple ID on the device to see an option in Settings to install the developer betas.
I wonder how this will affect me. I haven’t paid my developer membership in a couple years, but still have had access to profiles on Apple developer website since it expired.

That's gonna be an annoying one. I pay for the developer program using the Apple ID I use for the App Store, not the one I use for iCloud. I wonder if they will take both into consideration to show the option, otherwise I would need to switch my subscription to the other Apple ID.
you can add a 2nd iCloud account

On some previous iOS 16 betas I’ve experienced device crashing and random resprings, so I’m very hesitant to get back on the beta train… has anybody else been experiencing this with any recent betas? If it’s still the case I’m probably going to stay away until official release.

can we get push notification from macrumors forum now with this web push for web apps?

Starting with the iOS and iPadOS 16.4 beta, Apple Developer Program members will see a new option to enable developer betas directly from the software update in Settings. This new option will be automatically enabled on devices already enrolled in the program that upgrade to the latest beta version. Your iPhone or iPad must be signed in with the same Apple ID that you used to sign up for the Apple Developer Program to see this option in Settings. In future releases of iOS and iPadOS, this new setting will be the way to enable developer betas, and configuration profiles will no longer grant access. - Apple

There will be no more profiles... If you want a beta, pay $99.

Mostly correct. If you want a beta a few days before the people on the public profile get it, pay $99
