I'm not seeing it. I can write a new message and add photos without any issue. What is the bug, perhaps it's sporadic - maybe it doesn't happen on every phone?

Try reinstalling the iOS with finder and the IPSW file.
Should be. And what makes you even madder, if you go to the website and then add bookmark to favourite, it pulls the correct one… but adds the old one.
Does this on my wife’s 16.3.1 non beta and my ip14. but not on our iPads. iPad works like a Mac, when you select the website, your see the fav icon change to the updated one.
The Mac and tablets/phones still stores the icon somewhere, on a Mac you can go to a folder with them all in and easily clear them with cache flush.
Says the person with 2+ million unread emails, 500 + open safari tabs, and 1500 photos a day taken ! 😁 LOLI do too, LOL! Every single year since 2008. But I still prefer 🐌 slow charging. It's the little things that make a big difference to me. I like to baby my iPhone. Take that extra good care! Slow charging it is
Probably already stated, but just long press the + in Safari and see your recently closed tabs in order of which you closed them. Pick the one you wish to restore.

Don’t worry. Even if it’s fixed for you, someone else will have have some world ending bug … that curiously only affects them. And must be fixed immediately.
Did my trip to the closest Apple Store today to see if my iPhone (13PM) has a hardware issue with FaceID.
It doesn’t. Matter of fact the checkup said all was well. That was a relief as it is out of warranty. He did try to get me to upgrade
At this point I have to go with it being a software issue. I can say since the b2 OTA update, I have only had a couple of FaceID failures. hope the improvement continues.

That’s cool, actually didn’t know it was there, thank you. Sadly it doesn’t work in Private browsing (my preferred default) which makes sense I suppose but still a quick “undo” feature would be nice.

I think a shake might undo that sort of thing; am I wrong? I'm always surprised how many actions that undoes.
Just tried it and “shake to undo” does restore a closed tab.
Photo selection bug in messages persisted after a shift + update IPSW install. Will wait for beta 3
