Yes, yes those important 1st world problems like page turning animations keep people up at night.
What? That was awesome! Please for the love of god don't reintroduce the page flip to the calendar app on iOS/macOS. One aspect of skeuomorphism that can stay dead.
Since you mentioned the calendar: Why can't I enlarge the date numbers in the calendar printout? I don't print because I can't see the number. Please for the love of god don't reintroduce the page flip to the calendar app on iOS/macOS. One aspect of skeuomorphism that can stay dead.
Completely disagree. I use the kindle app on my 5th gen Mini and it's great. It's all I need.Yes, please. Let's just throw away the thousands of dollars I've invested in books.
(And yeah, I've tried Amazon's Kindle app for iOS. Using it right now for a book. It's still awful.)
What is the point in this comment? People are allowed to like whatever feature they want in the luxury devices they spend a fortune on.Yes, yes those important 1st world problems like page turning animations keep people up at night.
I know it looks great, but hear me out: let’s say you want to quickly find out what day of the week Christmas falls on. In the old iCal, I’d try to click the next month rapidly. However, it wouldn’t register any clicks for the next month until the animation for the current “next month” rendered on screen. It was slow and cumbersome. If they reintroduce it, but allow quick movement through months, I’m completely fine with itWhat? That was awesome!
Ah, so you want me to lose thousands of dollars?Completely disagree. I use the kindle app on my 5th gen Mini and it's great. It's all I need.
Give it a shot. It’s the only thing that can rival an actual book. I can barely read long news articles on a screen.I've always wanted to try the e-ink Kindle. Reading on a regular LCD/OLED screen never quite 'works' for me. So far, paper is king. Audiobooks a close second.
