Yes, yes those important 1st world problems like page turning animations keep people up at night.

Please for the love of god don't reintroduce the page flip to the calendar app on iOS/macOS. One aspect of skeuomorphism that can stay dead.
Since you mentioned the calendar: Why can't I enlarge the date numbers in the calendar printout? I don't print because I can't see the number. :(

Yes, please. Let's just throw away the thousands of dollars I've invested in books.

(And yeah, I've tried Amazon's Kindle app for iOS. Using it right now for a book. It's still awful.)
Completely disagree. I use the kindle app on my 5th gen Mini and it's great. It's all I need.

What? That was awesome!
I know it looks great, but hear me out: let’s say you want to quickly find out what day of the week Christmas falls on. In the old iCal, I’d try to click the next month rapidly. However, it wouldn’t register any clicks for the next month until the animation for the current “next month” rendered on screen. It was slow and cumbersome. If they reintroduce it, but allow quick movement through months, I’m completely fine with it

Ah, so you want me to lose thousands of dollars?

Great. I'll take that just the way it should be taken.

Huh? You said the iOS version of the Kindle app is awful. I disagreed. It works great for me. I never suggested anything else. If you are happy with Apple Books, great. Keep using it. I like the Kindle app. That's all.

One easy thing they could do to make iBooks a little bit better is have it remember your chosen font size on a book-by-book basis. I don't even think it has a separate setting for iPhone and iPad. It just seems like it has one setting across your entire account

I've always wanted to try the e-ink Kindle. Reading on a regular LCD/OLED screen never quite 'works' for me. So far, paper is king. Audiobooks a close second.
Give it a shot. It’s the only thing that can rival an actual book. I can barely read long news articles on a screen.

I CANNOT WAIT!! :) This has been holding me back from updating my iPad... I dislike the scrolling so much..

Have you guys honestly tried turning from the corners? It works on the iPhone 14 Pro but not my old iPad Pro 1TB third gen for some reason.
