iOS 16.4 Beta 3 ― Bug Fixes, Changes, and Improvements

⚠️ Well this is something new. Not sure what caused the iPhone to be running hot last night. Plugged into 5W Apple charging adapter.

Have any of you seen this message before?

I think I may have gotten it due to the fact I covered the Apple 5W Wall Charger with a pillow. When you do that for an extended amount of time it makes the charger very hot. I guess Apple 5W Wall Charger needs some air to breathe too.

It seems to me, that this message has been buggy since the initial release of iOS 16. For me it appears sometimes, although my phone was cold or slightly warm in that situation.

Seeing an issue on iOS in the Music App where I could have downloaded an album in my Library, and then later go back to it and only some of the songs are downloaded. I can then go to Settings —> General —> iPhone Storage —> Music, and the whole album is listed there. If I then try downloading the same songs in the Music App again, the same thing happens again and now I’m also losing free space… Those tracks are going somewhere.

That’s if the Settings App works for you…

I’ve had an interesting issue, 14p usb connected to carplay, on for 30 plus minutes, turn off the car disconnect the iphone and the phone goes dead, this has happened twice. tried the hard boot volume up, volume down hold the on/off nothing, doing this multiple times. After about an hour redo the boot and the phone comes back on. Seems to have started with 16.3 beta and now with 16.4. Have used this usb connection for several years. Any one else?

It’s been no different on my 14P on this beta or previous. Home network also.

Private relay is off. And these are my home Wi-Fi settings.

Quite bad battery drain today.

Seems Twitter is doing something in the background, even though background app refresh is off.

Could be an app issue rather than iOS of course.

Keyboard is taking a second to appear when swiping down for spotlight. Intermittent but consistent. Reported.

Since posting this, about an update two hours ago, Twitter has no background activity at all and I have had the app open a few times.

See how it goes Tomorrow
