Random floating window bug when you press and hold on the video timeline with one finger and pressing info I with another finger.

What’s interesting is that it actually includes additional elements like the „Info“ title and the „X“ to close.

Maybe an iPadOS left over?

Someone mentioned it on YouTube and it works

This bug exists in 16.4.1, too. Just reproduced it.

This build is great but getting some very rare hang-ups due to memory issues - for example getting into my car and waiting for CarPlay to fire up while opening an address in Google maps via link and having another intensive app running. I sat there for about 20 seconds while Google maps was just a blank gray screen because it wouldn’t load and CarPlay wouldn’t connect to my stereo. Nothing that a restart can’t fix and much better than beta 2.

Nooooooooooo… 99% 🪫. I knew this was coming. ☹️ I’m ready to order the new iPhone now. That is the only way! 😒

Still getting the square notifications on Lock Screen.

Not sure if this is related to the beta, but I received the Apple Pay later notification today.

OMG u guise.. when I try enrolling my MacBook into receiving Developer betas through terminal ('sudo /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/Seeding.framework/Resources/seedutil enroll DeveloperSeed') it now gives the response: "Enrollment is no longer supported through seedutil." Is this the end? :(:eek:

The irony when eventually without paying $99/year for the privilege of testing Apple's software for them I will only be able to download iPhone IPSWs day-of. Watch profile gonna go kaput, same with HomePod (OG)...and I'm assuming updating the Mac alternatively will be a hassle. The only other holdout might be the HomePod mini since it has the USB connection o_O😂

Yeah yeah I'm entitled, spoiled, American, whatever. I have had paid dev accounts in the past but I don't write code sadly and I think it's quite ridiculous to make someone pay for those products and services just to have release-day access to developer betas. That is one thing I appreciate about Microsoft and Windows: It's easy and free (at least monetarily) to opt into whichever beta channel one pleases. I understand and appreciate that business is business and rules are rules, but sometimes I can't help but entertain the admittedly negative thought that sometimes Apple just enjoys being difficult—and costly.

This specific development marks a sad departure from the Apple of yore in my software-testing-enthusiast eyes.

P.S. Yes I am being dramatic. In reality waiting an extra day or so won't kill me. I am however feeling increasingly burned by T. Cook's Apple and its understandably miserly business tactics, but I will probably never cross back over to Android (🤢). Sadly, at the same time, I feel that whoever shall come after Cook will somehow be objectively and significantly worse; I mean, Jobs did directly name Cook his successor. All I'm saying is: Whoever comes after Tim Cook will probably have a lot of people missing him. Take that for what you will. 🫣

I had this today on 16.4.1 (without CarPlay - just Google Maps taking ages to start). Maybe it was a Google issue.

Is Apple ever going to fix the disappearing Safari tabs issue? I just upgraded to 16.5 on my iPad and when I opened Safari all my tabs were gone. When I long press the ‘+’ icon I don’t see any recently closed tabs. My settings are set to manually delete. I swear this happens every time I update to a new beta.

Did you update your AWU to the 9.5 beta as well? My phone is on 16.5 beta 3 and my AW7 is on 9.4 and I do not have any delayed notifications or notifications not showing on my AW7.
Same here. However, when I’m on my MacBook Pro (13.2.1) I will get the delay on my watch (phone and MacBook get a notification about a minute before). However any other time I do not get the delay.

Hang in there dear friend! It’s going to be September before you know it. Then I will see you on the other thread, where we will do all the crazy things that we do every year!😂🚀

Since the start of the 5 beta, Notification alerts between my AWU, MBP, IPad Pro, 13PM are not in sync. They can be up to a few minutes apart. Usually close, but not in sync.

Only a little over a month before the all new iOS is on our phones to distract us from our deteriorating batteries. And then we just have to make it to September for our titanium iPhone 15 ultra’s. I just hope I don’t go under 90% by then!! Down to 94% now! Hanging on by a thread!!

Noticed today that my dev profile disappeared on my 14PM running 16.5b3. Tried re-installing the profile but it no longer installs. Looks like it's the end of the road for free dev betas.

The weather App bug still exists and acting up today. It’s extremely annoying and unacceptable. I want a refund! 🫥

You double checked this is the app and not your connectivity? Does it do the same on cellular? (Just because you have full strength Wi-Fi bars, doesn’t always mean theres a good connection)

If not, reset your network settings and restart your router 👍🏼
