Great update. I've found several bugs in this 0.0 update, but nothing serious. Most new "useful" features in a few years. IMO
I'm waiting until IOS 17 personally.I'm holding off from upgrading until next year. Let Apple flush out the OS. By January, iOS 16 should be a-lot better.
No you are notSo what moron decided to move notifications to the very bottom of the phone? Am I the only one?
And so many thought CSAM would keep iPhone users from upgrading to iOS 15 and beyond lmao.Best update in years…in my own humble opinion. And macrumors thank you for those useful round ups.
The solution is to hold off until Apple moves iOS 16 to the main branch.I'm holding off from upgrading until next year. Let Apple flush out the OS. By January, iOS 16 should be a-lot better.
Yup. I’m on 14.8 on my main phone, getting the 14p though so will be updating very soon. Suppose I will just have to deal with it. Not happy with it, but I can’t stay on this aging OS forever. I don’t use iCloud anymore since Apple implemented the scanning though. I don’t have anything to hide, I just don’t like anything about it including apple’s “but think of the children” BS reasoning.
If you updated to 15.7, it’s already to late, imo.Sticking with 15.7 and 13 mini for as long as possible. Lost all trust in Apple to a) not break the staples for the sake of headline features, and b) not to surreptitiously weaken privacy at the behest of increasingly authoritarian states.

I was super excited to try all the features in iOS 16, soi did something I never do - upgrade to the .0 (ie 16.0) version of a new release.
Regrettably most of my apps crash shortly after opening. I can basically use Safari - no apps. Even the photos app crashes.
This is on a 2 month old iPhone 13 Pro.
I'm on a 13 mini, battery life is really good, also no lags, everything works as it should. Just very few UI stutters but those will be gone with future updates. Overall, i don't regret it updating it to 16.I used to upgrade day 1, especially when new and exciting features were available. Nowadays, I just want a stable system with no keyboard lag and great battery life. I’ll upgrade at some point, but I don’t like to beta test software every year.
Precisely. No thanks to those UI stutters.I'm on a 13 mini, battery life is really good, also no lags, everything works as it should. Just very few UI strutters but those will be gone with future updates. Overall, i don't regret it updating it to 16.
Nothing major trust me, i'm very perfectionist and very needy as in smooth things when it comes to UI. And it doesn't bother me at all. Stutters happens when i'm doing things too fast on the phone but overall is a very stable iOSPrecisely. No thanks to those UI stutters.
Sure, but they could be on iOS 15 if they wanted toHow many if those are simply people with older phones who are not supported by iOS16? I'm sure there are plenty of people with iPhone 7 and 7+.
2013 was the major shift, from where I’ve been watching.I always wait for x.4 at least, then evaluate. Apple software quality has been in the dumpster the last few years.
The number of people who are okay with the general public being used as a beta testing group…Looking at MRs iOS 16 forum, still lots of bugs. However, glad peeps are updating faster this year so they can get ironed out faster. 🙂
Yeah, just say “finish it”.Flush out? I can't keep up with all of these new technical terms...
Well… I get to decide if I want to be a “beta tester”. Someone else does not.The number of people who are okay with the general public being used as a beta testing group…
