I'm just glad there is a normal Max now. I mostly got the PM for the M part. If I do even upgrade this time, I have to see the differences first. One thing that stinks this time around is I've been waiting for AoD, and it will supposedly only be on Pros

I tried to dual sim with Visible Wireless, it helped in some areas...especially Hollister, California where I got NO Sprint/T-mobile service...The rest of the time Visible sucked ever, just as bad Sprint...Ultimately, it wasn’t worth $25 a month to me. I have considered trying an MVNO that uses AT&T service for the second sim, but have not tried it yet.

I used usmobile and it's only 8 a month for unlimited talk/text. It's great for a business number if you don't need two data plans. It uses verizon and I never had any problem with voice not connecting even in rural areas.

That works for me. Of course, you need to know the name of the setting to search for it.

I’m a bit sad they remove the parallax wallpaper when tilting the phone.

Hope they bring that back.

Not a fan of widgets on homescreen. I understand people may like it, but love a clean and empty lock screen.

I’ve gotten the perspective zoom to work once by restarting but it stopped. It’s broken.

iOS16 has some nice things but yeah, too many negatives.

The large album art on the lockscreen is basically the only reason why I even care about iOS 16, but it seems notifications have become an afterthought not worth the tradeoff. Why oh why would they stack them at the bottom now. Great way to miss important stuff.

The album art is treated as part of the background. Notifications stay at the bottom but will expand right over it if need be.

If you set it to List it works similar to iOS 15 except coming from the bottom instead of the top (location wise that is, newer notifications are still at the top of the list).

I use iOS 16 on my SE 2020 now its feel brighter when i lower the brightness level its a bit more eye hurting but not 100% sure.

Except it’s not user error. That doesn’t work for the Lock Screen widget.

Correct. The widget description does say it’s for the users location. I’m curious why OP has it turned off though, so many functions rely on it.

Sorry, yes for lockscreen.

Also I only use GPS data for maps and photos. For weather I just use my city as location.

I always have location services off for weather as i found it just meant it was on permanently, same with my watch. Unless you are going to numerous different locations all the time its probably better to just have location services turned off and set the locations you need, i generally have my home town, a place we visit a lot then will add a place if we are travelling there. Then i have my home town set for the widget on my home screen and any complication on my watch. If i'm anywhere different for a period of time i might change the location on the widget\complication like when we went away on holiday for a couple of weeks.

In terms of my watch when i had a watch face with a weather complication with it set to use GPS i was ending the day with 20%'ish left on the battery, changing it to a set location and i'm barely below 50% most of the time.
