Can somebody confirm to me that voice messages is a UX disaster in this first developer beta? Not complaining if this is truly just a beta thing, but sending a voice message has gotten horribly complicated on the iPad. The tiny microphone in the input field only invokes speech to text now via a tap. Tapping and holding does nothing. To record a voice message, you have to open the iMessage app drawer, open a „voice message app“, and tap and hold a huge microphone that pops up. If you release the message sends. If you only tap it will record until you press stop, then the button changes to a play icon and you can send the message via the input field. Opening the sheet opens a weird full screen voice memos clone. What is happening?

I can’t risk the macOS update until I get confirmation that VMware Horizon works properly (work). That’s usually what I wait for and it keeps me off for a few betas.

Which version of VMWare works for personal use?

I am a developer, tried to install using profile and I just get an unable to install update message..... Any tips ? (iPhone 12)

It is stuck on "verifying update" before I get the error

I wasn’t hallucinating when the flashlight and camera shortcut on the home screen was different in the livestream right? I’m assuming that’s in an upcoming beta

That was just setting to change while in customisation mode, they both can’t be changed unfortunately

"Continuity Camera", or whatever it's called, is working well. It uses the main (i.e. rear) camera on the phone, and the quality is SO MUCH BETTER than the webcam in my Intel MBA.

Tested FaceTime and Zoom.

Can I ask is there a way to remove the search tab on the Home Screen under the icons or does that stay on by default, for me swiping down for spotlight is better so don’t want another intrusive thing on my screen?

You can turn it off (settings / home screen) but you don't save any space as it simply leaves the "···" crap there instead.

Keyboard haptics are interesting, I don’t think I’ll keep them on because at the moment typing feels laggy vs iOS 15. Does anyone else feel like keyboard autocorrect has changed slightly? Different predictions I mean, like they’ve updated the correction model
