Yes, if you go to the Wallpapers option in settings you can change it there. It's a bug for now.
My bank (RBC in Canada) disabled Face ID, but that's about standard whenever I update to a beta.

Figured it out, the way you change it is by going to Settings > Wallpaper, tapping the right side image, and clicking photo (first button from the right). Leftmost button matches lock screen. Not very intuitive for a first timer
Looks like theres a new volume bar again in the music app and a smaller now playing box on the lock screen (unsure if that was mentioned earlier)
Guessing that it might just be beta bugs there, agreed it does not feel like it ‘should’ be that way
Yes. It is possible, just not as evident as with earlier versions. Once you have your lockscreen customized with a wallpaper of your choice, unlock your phone, go to Settings app>Wallpapers and tap the Homescreen (The image on the right) and change it to whatever you like.

Erm the music player doesn’t look very attractive or readable on dark mode does it? 😂 Other than that minor thing, and losing all my texts, everything’s running pretty damn smoothly on my 13PM! Photos took quite a bit to fully populate but I have a LOT so that’s definitely to be expected.
Can you change the default map to Precipitation or does it save the last used map? In iOS 15 it would always default to temperature- if you switched to another map type and closed out the app/reopened, it would always reset.
I’m very hesitant to put a beta on my watch cause I can’t restore it to a public firmware. I’ve never done it but it would be nice to update it to watchOS 9 IF it’s stable with good battery life. Time will tell if that’s the case or not.

Sounds like there aren't many reasons to not make the jump except maybe battery life.

The volume adjustment in Music is different. There's no little circle to click and drag. It's kinda like the Mac touch bar, you just press anywhere and adjust. That's new right? Lol
Yeah, mine is operating a little strangely. If I set the lock screen, it sets for both. You can go back in and re-set the home screen individually though and that seems to work.
This may be a dumb question, do you have any duplicates? I also noticed it was kinda hidden away at the bottom under Utilities and not in Media Types. Not sure why I expected it to be there lol.

don’t know if just me but notification sounds are a lot quieter even when set to max
I am unsure but there are a lot of pictures that look extremely similar. I wouldn’t mind getting rid of a few of those but I have soooooo many photos… it would take so much time to go through all of them.
I did the watch and it’s been working flawlessly for hours. Battery life seems normal. I’m on a series 7.
Hmm. Maybe give it some time (and a reboot). May have to do an initial scan of your library to see what it can find.
