Not sure if this is new but it seems like screenshots and photos are intelligently named based off the content. You can even rename when saving.

Disregard the email content! Ha!

A day with this release and everything seems fine. Apps work fine, nothing has crashed. Battery isn't dying prematurely. Should be smooth sailing til release in fall.

Talk about coincidence, just as I hit Post reply my hotspot from my phone disconnected. Maybe it's a one time thing.

Gotta agree with y'all - I am impressed with how well everything works, especially for a B1.....
Go Apple!!

Anyone having issues syncing to your computer?
13PM syncing to MBP M1 13” where it never gates past preparing to sync for half hour. My M1 is on Monterey.
First try with XS Max and iMac late 2015 same as you. Quit out of there and did an encrypted backup, then a sync afterwards worked fine as expected.

With the new lock screen scrolling (and hidden) notifications, how do you know WHEN you have notifications? I turned on my iPhone 13 pro and the lock screen shows NO notifications, however, if you scroll up from the bottom, you see all the notifications. Hmmmm

New notifications appear at the bottom of the Lock Screen, old notifications that appeared before you unlocked your phone are in Notification Center. Check your Stack/List/Count setting in Settings > Notifications as well

I think I figured it out, after watching the lock screen video on here. it is supposed to show you a text bubble at the bottom telling you what notifications are there. It does not always do that.... hmmm

Finally Hidden album in photos app needs face ID to see content.
A bug: everytime I go to Settings/Privacy and security/Location services, it always crashs the settings app.

Haven’t seen anyone post about this yet, but you can press on an object in a photo (in the Photos app), and be able to copy or send that object with the background removed. Example below:

That was mentioned in the Keynote.

Cool feature that is useless on the iPhone - you can drag the image out, but can't get to messages or mail to drop it... oh, so close!

Had to raise my phone issue. Every time I got a missed call from someone when I try and call them back I can’t hear them but they can hear me. Not connected to any external devices.

After a reboot it was okay until I had a call again

Did you install the driver from Xcode for finder?
Might help, sorted my installing using IPSW file problem out.

Download Xcode, unpackage, then extract by using show package contents (right click mouse on Xcode) then route too > Resources > Packages > MobileDevice.pkg - drag that onto your desktop and install.

This hot tip was curtesy of @Banglazed, the last Jedi.

iPhones Battery widget on Lock Screen | Have we got to the bottom of why some people cant display theirs, as we've seen some that can, and they only have the Apple Watch as a battery option for lock screen?

iPhone 13s only or just the Pro models? or bug on the IP12s needs reporting?

Thats all my options below. Cant swipe left or right to change.

EDIT: how to fix this is on post #628
