Any changes to the podcast now playing screen? Have they brought it in line with the music app playing screen?

One nice bit of unexpected integration: if you use an app like Sleep Cycle to track your sleep, the Apple watch will merge its sleep data with on-the-watch sleep phase tracking so you see sleep phase information for just that period of time. I’m guessing you need to be running the developer seeds on both devices.

Can user still choose the old, typical notification display mode? I don’t want a photo always in the middle of the lock screen

On the 13 Pro Max if you use the Weather widget and Activities widget on the lock screen its not centered correctly. Sorry if this has already been reported.

Hey :)

I installed the public beta profile to be ready for July, is it normal if it’s written « IOS 15 beta profile »?
Or do I have to wait later to subscribe to the beta program?

Thx 🙏

Will be buggy in these first betas. Get it reported and attach a video 👍🏼
Yep, widgets on the lockscreen are barely ever refreshing unless you edit the lock screen or you cause a crash that respring :D
At least, the homekit one are pretty much alwasy wrong unless I do any of the above

You'll have to wait for an iOS 16 public profile. About a month. Or you could install the dev profile for iOS 16 before then, if you're feeling adventurous.

Is it finally possible to add Safari to the Always Allowed list of apps when downtime is enabled? I hate that Safari is the only app that we can’t add to this list!!

Not sure if its been mentioned before but sometimes my widgets on the Lock Screen will not be there when my screen turns on. Sometimes they appear late or I have to unlock/lock my phone to bring them back.
I think that these Widgets are sensitive ones, that shows when you proven that you are the one who should see it.

Like on Apple Watch if you haven't turned your Arm with the watch to your face...

I don't understand these new wallpaper settings? What is the "readability" on / off switch and the random coloured background suggestions supposed to do?

I have a "ocean" wallpaper right now but it suggests me a blurred background of my dog or some random colours where it just says "configurating ...". Don't get it

Also, is there any way to get rid of the shadows? I hate it. Looks dirty

In the Home app prior to 16, if you tapped on a light/group of lights button, it either turned them off or turned them back on to their last settings.

Now, it brings up the brightness slider and Apple’s color picker, which is useless if you’ve set your lights up via scenes.
Not sure if anyone else replied but the “buttons” are now dual function, tap the left for the on and off function and the right side to bring up the slider. I think it is quite nice,

Do an encrypted back up to your computer before you make the jump.

That way you can go back with ease to a stable build 👍🏼
Just finished the install, I’m impressed it feels already faster than iOS 15 on my old XS
