in itunes when I go to update to ios 16 with ipsw it tells me that I have to have the latest version of the program to do it, and I already have the latest version. I have used the betas of ios 13, 14 and 15 since the first one and I have never come across these restrictions to update with the ipsw file without being a developer. and since I'm in the 15.6 beta, I don't think it's appropriate to upload another beta from a beta haha I'll have to wait I guess.
Unfortunately, you need an updated iTunes unless you have a Mac and you can get the mobile driver from the Xcode beta to install the IPSW

just noticed Ring thumbnails Do not show preview you have to click on it hopefully they fix this for at least security cameras

So far, despite some little issues, I've had no crashes and core functionality (and all my apps) are working. Impressive!

I might risk the MacOS upgrade soon, even though I need my laptop to work for a presentation on Wednesday. I hope I don't have to restore ...

Initial views on the new cosmetics, Lock Screen, wallpapers and the new search bar above the dock aren’t good for me. The new wallpaper UI/picker looks like a badly put together rip-off of a Samsung phones wallpaper picker. The new bold clock doesn’t look great in my opinion.

I didn’t even need to download it to know that the bold font of the clock looks terrible. They went from the ultra thin font in iOS 7 to this ultra thick font nine years later. I honestly prefer the mid-way font that we have now. They already had it right in the first place with iOS 6 and prior versions.

Also agree with everything else you wrote. It all looks like a shoddy incohesive mess and just a complete eyesore.

Where is the interactive widgets that have been rumors for a while.

The wall paper is cool other then you can have separate wall paper for home and Lock Screen..

The new home app is the most impressive thing about this update.

One off the most disappointing updates in years.
iOS 15 and iOS 16 can been a let down, im sick and tired of apps updates, I wish I wasn't stuck in the eco system

What! As much as I like the new wallpaper options? I’m kind of sad that they got rid of the old…. Specifically, it seems like you can’t have a separate home screen and lock screen wallpaper anymore.
there is a way, i was able to go into settings - wallpaper and tap the home screen image- then configure - then off to the bottom left hand side after the image loads you'll see the photo button select your photo and then hit done at the top and then swipe out of settings

Stage manager works well on the iPad but I can’t get my external monitor to scale

I don't have a mac, however, even if itunes started the process, it would run into the same shsh problem as 3utools. Do you think that if I update from beta 2 of ios 15.6 I will drag many problems? haha
Generally speaking, updating on OTA should not cause any major issues. It is "Cleaner" to use the IPSW but this is normal during the beta period where only a MAC can restore an IPSW file until near the end of the beta period, if not when 16 launches in the fall.

tvOS isn't showing up in Appleseed. watchOS did, but is erroring when I try to download (though I haven't upgraded my iPhone yet).

Is it the same for anyone else?

You can now view and copy your Wi-Fi password when view more info about your network
Yep, this was mentioned earlier and is great news! I know I can "keychain" the passwords on my laptop but I don't always have that with me.

Plus, when in the main WiFi settings screen there's an "Edit" option top-right which gave me a list of wifi networks that I'd not used in years. Had a nice clearout.
