Has anyone else’s HomeKit/cameras stopped detecting that they’re home, and now you’re getting bombarded with notifications that the cameras are detecting someone, when you’re clearly home and it’s you they’re detecting?

You should check out that thread in News Discussion where some people are absolutely foaming at the mouth in anger because 31 new emojis are going to be introduced soon 🤣

Really? 😳

The worlds going/gone mad in my view. Everyone is walking on egg shells nowadays. One minute you're passive aggressive, then you’re a racist, or body shamming because things are extrapolated way out of context so they can get likes. Social media has sent people crazy. Twitter has created people who actually agree with an opinion more, than real facts. Totally bonkers.

Memojis are a fun way to express yourself and personalise your account. That’s where it ends for me on that, anything more, I think, things have been taken a little too far. If they introduce 10,000 more emojis, it just gives you more choice to express yourself. Expression in the digital world is difficult at times because people can read into things in a totally different way, so any help to get a message across how you intended, gets a thumbs up from me. There are more important things in life to me like actually spending time with family and friends, exploring this earth and iOS betas, than the fake digital world with likes. A cuddle from someone beats 10,000 likes, we seem to have forgotten that.

More importantly... we getting 31 new emojis in beta 4 or by the official release of iOS 16 then? 🥳

This post has triggered me and I'm calling in sick for the rest of the day...now, time for a nap....

Does a "hard restart" fixes more issues than a "normal reboot"?
I find a “normal”/full restart to be sufficient for day-to-day issues, but if there’s something that completely locks up the system I will do a rare “hard” restart, which has been likened to pulling a computer’s plug or battery.

That's now the easy way to change the lock screen....swipe down for notifications and then long press to swipe between focus modes and/or change the screen.

Great tip there. Hadn’t noticed you could do that. Much easier (or at least more convenient) than locking the phone and then long pressing on the lock screen.

It has been wonky this beta 3. Keeps thinking I have left when I havent and vice versa. At least once a day

Anyone use a location based Focus thats now just automatically turning on every of you’re nowhere near the location? even at an absurd distance like 33mi/53km away?

Make sure you also don’t have Smart Activation turned on also. Smart Activation uses a secret sauce algorithm to determine if you would want a particular focus mode turned on at a time/location/app usage

This happens when the eSIM and regular sim profile been activated then taken out. Just go to settings then cellular and tap the one that’s no longer available then hit update contacts when it prompts you.

My only issues with this beta:

1. A lot of drop calls lately.
2. Signal goes to no service a lot more then SOS.
3. Random stutter or slow downs
4. Getting warm easily

Never had these before on beta 2.

yeah read this about going into cellular, I've only got Mobile data though as an option in settings, UK iphone, unless I'm missing something here and being a dum ass, so cant follow on with your instructions. Defo cant see a line that no longer available anywhere 😵‍💫

I do have it turned on plus I geo-fenced the location. I figured SA needs to be on for it to work. No?

No, smart activation does not need to be on and it's probably what's causing your issue as @gwhizkids said. Simple geofencing alone has been working perfectly for me

I think you would find this video very interesting. It's a bit long-winded and unconventional, but it uses the Green Bubble/Blue Bubble example to explore the principle of what you're saying. Enhancing one's ability to communicate more effectively through a (relatively) novel mode of communication like text messages can always only be a good thing for both, companies and consumers.

Going to give the revised build a go to see if it resolves my health app issues, one of the dev's on twitter wants me to create a feedback report and tell them the ID anyway.
Has anyone else experienced any issues with Health data? @Broken Hope did your dev on Twitter get to the bottom of it at all? Cheers!

It's my beta deal breaker!

Tap for More Detail popup appearing every single time when Weather app is launched, reported it.
