iOS 16 Beta 3 ― Bug Fixes, Changes, and Improvements

1. Are there any new options avalable for a bluetooth mouse? I would love to assign the clickwheel to trigger multitasking. I know there’s Assistive Touch but it’s not quite the same. With all this talk of pro apps and OS, I would be very sad if this isn’t there still.

2. While we’re at it, is there any way to have Hot Corners trigger instentaneously? Seems like the best I can do it have to hover in the corner for .25 seconds. Really a lot of stuff should come out of accessibility

3. I have auto correction and Check Spelling on, but it never seems to do anything in web browers text fields or apps like Reddit. Am I missing something? Maybe updated in 16?

4. Finally, any update to moving multiple selected files around between folders and apps? Unless I’m missing something, if I want Photoshop to open 10 images into the same document, I need to do it one by one.

Maybe I need to look into it more and actually try it out, but Stage Manager seems like a weird half-baked inbetween old iPadOS and MacOS.

I agree that it is awful and confusing. I just wanted you to know that it’s possible if it is something you really preferred.

Navigate to Settings > Wallpaper and there you will see “customize” under both homescreen and lockscreen. To add Apple stock wallpapers you need to click “customize” and then “add new wallpaper.” That brings up an option window where you’ll see the Apple wallpapers and a bunch of other things.

No, just tried again. I click the Customize button under the Homescreen, Add new - boom, it changes both Lock and Home to the same thing immediately. It’s really not possible here. Maybe it’s a device-specific bug on 11 Pro but setting an Apple wallpaper just onto a Home Screen is 100% impossible on my device (b4).

There's been this bug where if you use the 3 finger pinch to copy and paste, it zooms in and zooms out on the screen. Not fixed yet.

Still not fixed in the public release of iOS 16.0.
