iOS 16 Beta 6 ― Bug Fixes, Changes, and Improvements

I think Apple weather just doesn't bother to update its forecast regularly.
Yesterday, we dropped from 28° to 19 during a hailstorm and it slowly went back up to 22. The Swiss weather app I use was accurate all the time, but Apple weather (widget and app) just stuck with what was predicted in the morning, and kept telling me it was dry and 27° even in the middle of the hailstorm. It never updated. If it doesn't improve after the betas are over, I'll stop using it.

The data is there, though the app displays it incorrectly at some places. Interestingly, when you click the “Precipitation” square to display details, you’ll see the rain forecast/status there… I’m using that view as a workaround for now, but I really hope they’ll fox the bug asap.

Off topic Came home to this young Jedi last night. The force is strong in this one, well, his rolling over and pulling himself up on the sofa to stand is - 7 months. We think he will skip crawling.

Is he still in beta? Does the battery last all day, or does he still need charging up in the middle of the day? Also, can you ask him what the current temperature is in Basel? I'm curious as to the accuracy.
Mine wasn't that off and I eventually got the storm warning but it was definitely behind the curve yesterday. Cracking storm over here near Vevey.

Conclusion switched it off.

But privacy relay only works within Safari or are you using the Google calendar from the browser
Problem is, you keep checking him for available updates.
It comes and goes...usually works pretty well here. Some sites don't like it (EasyJet for example). I am quite keen on it as it effectively gives me IPV6 on my IPV4-only connection.
Anyone having issues with dictation and Siri? I can’t get dictation to work at all. Even after a clean install.
Not sure how, but the auto-suggested fonts and colors on Lockscreen images seem spot-on. This clock font really seems right for this image.
You can set up which calendars show for individual Focus modes (you tick the calendars you want to show).
It uses software (neural engine), no depth map needed. That‘s afaik why it‘s limited to newer phones with the bigger neural engine (I think it doesn‘t work on Xs and below?).
I have to say that I am massively impressed with battery life with this beta. I'm getting better battery life than I was on the latest iOS 15. I'm really hoping this manages to carry over to the final build.
It's for an existing setup. I misplaced my AirPods yesterday and went to check their location and found this. As I'm typing this I went into the AirPods settings and just cycled the Noise Control setting and it strangely resolved the issue.
Also, report it via the in-app feedback (“Report an issue”), located at the bottom of the Weather app. That’s what it’s there for, I believe.

I would say yeah—running a treat here on my daily- (only) driver 13 mini as well as on my stay-at-home baby, a ninth-gen basic iPad. But ultimately only you can make the decision and the jump for yourself.

Oh so something with the beta killed AMEX? I thought it was because i cancelled Apple One, and then just got iCloud back. The message said it was deleted because iCloud was turned off. No other cards had an issue.
