Agreed. The whole point of the cover art is to see it in full display, not hide it away.About time. Not sure why they ever took that away. Awesome!
As someone who actually designs cover artwork, I fully agree!Agreed. The whole point of the cover art is to see it in full display, not hide it away.
I hope that Apple allows users to adjust the location for where the playback controls go on the screen - I would much rather have the play, pause and skip forward and backward controls where they currently are on iOS 15
Having them at the bottom of the screen is horrible UI - especially when holding your iPhone with one hand
Lol. Funny. But now that i think about it would be nice too lol.Bring lyrics there too please
Maybe they use a small phone and now it would no longer be in the middle?Ummmm... you drunk bro?
Me too! Can’t wait to see the covers on the Lock Screen again! I have some old screenshots of the old player that I looked at recently and it is so much nicer than the small artwork player we got in the ost versions of IOS.This is unironically the feature i'm looking foward to the most in iOS 16. I really miss the old lockscreen music player with large album art and honestly with it being optional and the new lockscreen design it looks even better.
You can click the artwork and it shrinks down to miniature size in the mini player on the Home Screen. How about if I don’t want just anyone to see what I’m listening to, music or podcast?
Seems like a glaring fail for a company that touts privacy.
Um, my point is that the Lock Screen now exposes things like your music (maybe not so bad) and the podcast you’re listening to (which some may not want made public) for anyone to see. And there’s no way to disable that. I don’t care how long you’ve been waiting for this bit of coolness — the fact that Apple provides no way to turn it off is just plain bad.You can click the artwork and it shrinks down to miniature size in the mini player on the Home Screen.
The full sieze artwork is probably my favorite ios16 feature as I’ve been wanting that for years!
Didn’t you read my post? If you click the artwork it shows the small player which is almost identical to the lock screen player in ios15. you can choose the full screen artwork or just the mini player. iOS remembers if you enabled full screen or just mini player.Um, my point is that the Lock Screen now exposes things like your music (maybe not so bad) and the podcast you’re listening to (which some may not want made public) for anyone to see. I think I’ve been very clear that the issue is with iOS16. So yes, if you’d read my posts you’d get that.Didn’t you read my post? If your issue is with the mini player as well then the issue is with iOS overall which shows a player on the Lock Screen, and not ios16.
