Ehm, excuse me, doesn't this defies the CHAPTA's purpose entirely?
If a device can do it autonomously the "verify you're human" thing won't do the trick anymore.
I wonder the repercussions of this.

There are already loopholes. If you’re logged in to a Google account that Google considers to be a human, they often don’t even show up. I think this is something similar.

99% of captchas I see and can only imagine most as well, are Google’s captchas. So imagine the average user won’t see much of any less captchas unless google supports this as well but also is able to support it with existing captchas. If developers have to setup a new one, than will be forever until most day to day sites update and many never well. Here’s for hoping google updates it’s existing captchas but not holding my breath.

Sooner its available to use the better.

Like security measures but CAPTCHA can waste so much time even going to a website previously visited on the same IP

So... it's a bot that can bypass CAPTCHA, authenticate as a human and prove its not a... bot...
Nice.
Maybe that poor Google engineer was onto something after all!

In all seriousness though let's roll this out across the web/on the desktop. It's long past time for CAPTCHA to die.
(I don't even care if it's an imperfect solution, CAPTCHA is honestly worse than nothing at all. It annoys and harms actual users while doing very little, if anything, to deter dedicated botters with even moderate expertise and means at their disposal)
This isn't a bot that fills out captchas for you. It's an alternative means to verify a user is real person. Web developers wishing to opt into this can use this system as an alternative way to verify that a real human is on the other end, vs using a captcha.

All robots approve this move

Robots will take over the world.🤖🤖 I welcome our robotic overlords. Note to self: start saying, "Please" and "Thank you" to Siri, Alexa and Cortana from now on. Who knows, the Robot Overlord might spare me for being polite.😁

I'm aware.
That was... supposed to be a joke but I guess I should've added a /s or something :p

well it transfers the responsibility onto Apple, and the iCloud account. Apple can either block bot accounts or identify a rating of likelihood the iCloud account is a bot (similar to the ranking Captures generate), you as an iCloud user just don't have to do anything more than providing the link to your account (via logged in device, and/or facial/fingerprint recognition)

That is funny but I think it’s actually part of the test. A human should know to exclude that part.

Completely depends on your personality type. I am extremely thorough and detail oriented, and will often notice things that other people miss. Makes me a decent engineer at times, but also makes me a crappy captcha solver. I often try to turn down my brain and just glance at captchas to make myself less computer-like.
