I'm thinking tomorrow - but could be as late as thursday. last year they released the beta thursday after thanksgiving week. also 14.3 and 15.3 had 3 and 2 betas respectively, so we may not see another beta; RC may even be next..

Little bit if Pro motion tidying up to do, but this feels close to finished for me.

Off a full charge Friday morning, lasted me to 25% Sunday afternoon.
AOD off. Couldn't believe it. Safari, youtube, WhatsApp, camera, normal weekend family stuff usage. 4G.

That is incredibly impressive... Those are apple watch ultra numbers. I always just set it on the charger when I go to sleep and top off.. .But now I am curious to see what kind of numbers I would get if I keep it off the charger (I'm a AOD with no wallpaper user)

This is what happened to me and works for me. I used to charge over night, it’s easy right. But I noticed the battery health depleting quickly. Like 6% in 6 months quickly from a brand new 12. Optimised charge setting on.

Now, I charge to 100%, alarm goes off I’ve set up so I unplug and then charge if it hits 25%. Optimised charge setting off. Some days there’s a little small charge from CarPlay going on. But normally not. Anyway, doing this method I had a new battery fitted to my IP12, and after 6 months it was still at 100% health. Unlike the original battery being charged over night which dropped 6% in 6 months.

After researching about best battery conditions and how lithium ion bats like to be treated, they like to be charged and kept charged within a 25% to 80% range. Doing this keeps them healthy. Over charging on trickle for hours or over night or letting the battery deplete is not good news for it. The cells degrade quicker.

Saying all that your battery is there to be used, not saved. But in that process you should keep it healthy. 👍🏼

Great so far. I usually leave my house around 6:15am... have a commute and use my phone for streaming videos, listening to podcasts, etc. then just checking twitter, instagram and messaging throughout the day.... Some more streaming on my commute home... By the end of my day (around 10:30 or so) I am usually still at 30% or so.
