I was curious about the thread title, so i read a few posts. I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max as my iOS 16 device, and overall my experience has been pretty seamless. I've see problems regarding the newer devices being reported and some older as well. I just haven't any kind of big issues personally. Running iOS 16.2 currently.
I think the differentiator here is what apps you may or may not have installed, what apps you might have had installed and now don't, and if you've been running betas and have restored or not.. Many variables. Your scenario might seem similar to everyone here because of your iDevice, but everything else might vary. It really is a YMMV situation.

Well, I don't beta test iOS, so that probably is one thing that helps keep my devices the cleanest, second, I typically do a restore and clean install / setup after a couple years of updates. The other factor is, I typically don't use a lot of demanding apps. Mostly video / audio streaming services, banking, and apps for travel such as Uber, etc. Just a nutshell of what i do, mainly use as a communications device, or a device to help with travel, etc. Also some smart home stuff, such as alexa, google, etc. Right now looking at maybe waiting for the iPhone 15 before taking my upgrade. The 14 just doesn't seem a big enough upgrade for what I'd be using it for. Plus I'm not a complete fan of the dynamic island based on what I've seen in others' reviews so far. It's not horrible, but when it comes to watching video, I prefer the notch as it just fits into the phone design and doesn't stick out like the island can, depending on what you're doing.

I hope by the iPhone 15, apple will have perfected the integration more, and so will have third party app developers.

Deffo 16.2.1 this week to fix the screen glitch issue that some are experiencing since 16.2. One day they might even fix the stuttering[emoji2959
Aaron Zollo said he had a hard time seeing it this week in his latest youtube video. He said staffers were still on vacation but he expected it next week

They build/compile these things weeks in advance and although last month had a few holidays, that was primarily the last week. It is still possible for an update to drop today or tomorrow.

Zollo isn't all knowing. 😉

Haven't checked in here since 16.3 beta 1 and suddenly seeing a guy named Zollo? Who is he and why is he an "authority" on beta releases?
He just said it's unlikely, only been 1 week in the last 17 years there was a release the week after new years
