I don’t know now, from their job listings it looks like they have been trying to hire a bunch of new people but nobody wants to work there. They might have to hire a new “Jim” and teach him the ins and out of iOS before he can fix all the bugs and introduce new features for 16.4, so it may take awhile! 😳

Thank you for this. Last time, after unboxing the new HomePod I was too eager and excited. So while admiring I ended up waiting 45 minutes for the update to finish. Will definitely be applying overnight updates from now on. Apple does need to get rid of the update 'spinning wheel' and bring the 'status bar' back. The spinning wheel does no good. :p

That would be insane, I wish someone with contacts at Apple would ask them what is going on, something must be terribly wrong. Looks like my late February prediction might turn out to be true!

Maybe Apple really and finally is actually doomed??

So they're at least missing the bus on "Apple Classical" ... whatever it's called? Didn't Apple announce they'd be integrating that or doing SOMEthing with that before the end of 2022?

Notice how he included Gurman in this (just below the picture). Yet I can’t find anything from Gurman saying this on either Twitter or Bloomberg.

A bunch of the other crappy Apple “news” sites are parroting the same thing so somebody started it and the rest are doing what they do best - copying and pasting - and calling it news reporting.

Unless I see an actual reference citation to a known trustworthy source I will give it the same modicum of respect I give to a used Kleenex.

100% Agreed! I also noticed that when I looked up Gurman. He didn't mention anything on his account. Seems like a cheap/low-blow shot. Throwing shades, Not sure what was the reason for that.

I'm still hoping and praying we get to see iOS 16.4 Beta 1 tomorrow. I have a good feeling about it. Even if we see iOS 16.3.1 I'd be happy with that. Can we get something, please? Let's go, Apple. Make it happen!!!

P.S. I'm also afraid to get 🤬 cursed out if it's not released this week. The stakes are running high. 😂
