We had this happen last year in Nov or Dec where they rolled out a .1 update but it never came for the IOS. I don't remember which one it was but everyone freaked out

TVOS downloaded like lightening fast. I don't think it was a very big update..... this all might just be a security patch.

I'm going with a bold prediction that 16.3.1 is a week away or may never happen. last november we got a similar release for the homepod and tvos and the Ios version never came and we had to wait for like 2 weeks or so

I’m terrified to apply the update. Last time it took a good 45+ minutes for the HomePod to be fully updated.

You can always skip the update. As I did, for example, with iOS 16.2. I had been staying on 16.1.2 for a long time, before I updated to 16.3
