Zollotech and other YouTubers furiously going through settings right now looking for anything new since they’ve had nothing to report on for weeks.. ☺️
My mini and OG HomePods updated just fine with beta profiles installed in all.
I must admit though that after I did update them and everything else that I removed profiles from my devices as everything is working so well and yes, I have tried unsuccessfully to depart the beta train in the past, I will try to stay off for as long as I can stand it.

Weird, none of my minis updated. They all have the beta profile installed.
Perhaps both John991 and yourself can check if the toggle for HomePod mini is on or off... may make a difference?
So now turn them off and try to check for an update again.
Worked for me long back, can't remember which build it was as the toggle has been present for some time now, but long back it made the difference for me.

I have this feeling that once it does finally come out it’s gonna be a huge letdown, same bugs, nothing new of interest.
We’ll see, this Feb thru March/April beta cycle has usually added features in the past, and there are something’s promised that haven’t shown up yet.
Yeah the greatest 16.4 beta 1 that will fix stuttering on Pro motion devices, square notifications and will improve battery life
In my professional opinion its not coming today. beta profile devices got 16.3.1 yesterday because there won't be a 16.4 today to patch the vulnerability. They either have a show stopping bug with 16.4, are really worried about VR references leaking out.... Or just simply have all resources currently allocated to VROS in a mad dash to have something ready to present at a spring event. Maybe next week.
Yeah it won’t be out till end of the month because the new macs are coming mid April time frame I doubt any beta till end of Feb early march

The priority was to patch the zero-day. So 16.3.1 had to take priority. And they had to install the "patch" code into the internal versions of the 16.4 beta and test it before deploying.
Given the time that has already passed and the need to get back on track (remember, they are now bumping up against WWDC), I do expect to see 16.4 b1 today.

I have a feeling it will be today, so judging by recent history, it probably won't be today.
Regarding devices with a beta profile getting the update, don't they always get the most recent update, so if the public released update is more recent than the beta, they get that as well? Never really kept track of that to be honest.
