anyone else notice @yayarealiving auspiciously dropped off the map as soon as the update hit?
For all her "energy" she missed all the drama!
Yeah, I got busy yelling at Craig Federighi for taking too long and making us wait. Also, someone owes me a coffee here. But I'm here reading all the comments and updating my iPhone 14 Pro Max. Big day for us tomorrow!!!

How did they mess up?
Generally know zero about this, so interested to learn how they could F this up.
Apparently someone uploaded the update to the beta channels instead of public release. It’s corrected now.
Explains why it showed up for those with the profile installed initially.

I have the 16.3.1 popping up on my 14PM and I have a DEV beta profile installed... I think I am going to just ignore this one and not install... Will wait to see what happens tomorrow.

I think it's a bad sign that 16.3.1 was also rolled out to the devices with DEV beta profiles. For me, the only explanation is that there won't be a 16.4 beta anytime soon and the exploit is so bad that Apple wants to equip the developer devices with a secure version as well. I don't believe it's a bug, since 16.3.1 continues to be distributed to devices with dev beta profiles.

I hope of course that I am completely wrong and tomorrow a 16.4 appears 😅

Why? If it's a security patch it's beneficial until a newer seed takes its place that has that incorporated. 😉
It may not be a beta but I feel better today seeing these updates. 😎

Yea it’s incredible we finally got something, I think 16.4 beta 1 will come out tomorrow, but I was also thinking maybe it won’t be out for another week or two or three because why not!

Have the beta profile and just now see the update. I see no point in installing what I already have installed. If the modem had changed I’d go for it as i continue to get data drops, 3 in the past 4 hours. I hope 16.4 has an improved modem as that is the only thing that seems to help this issue, other than going back to my pixel 7 of course. 😆

There is nothing else left for Tim Cook. He needs to get back to work in Cupertino, CA.

The new Formula 1 season is about to start and teams are busy presenting their new cars and their brand new "livrée". Tim will fly to Bahrein 03-05 March to steward the crew shooting the next "Shot on an iPhone' advertisement material 😉

I’m getting a notification that my HomePods have an update. However checking for the updates under home settings updates I just get the spinning wheel for 1/2 hour.

I have the HomePod beta profiles installed.

Anyone else notice this?
