That is why it's so important to read the posts here. I believe you reminded everyone yesterday. Dang! Hopefully, he has a faster charger ready!

Exactly! Word is he was last seen looking for a charger, got lost in the woods, needed rescue but wasn’t able to summon a satellite as his battery was dead, and that was the last anyone ever heard of him.

We’re all in this together, communication is key, we don’t want to lose anybody else. 🙏

As much love as people afford iOS updates, you know that it is dead last when it comes to installation speed. Yeah tvOS, IPadOS, and MacOS all install faster. Don't have an Apple Watch so maybe that is slower. :D

iPhone models used iPhone 14 Pro.

I just pray that they don't leave 16.6 with the notification glitchiness and music freezing bug to persuade people to upgrade to iOS 17.

How to remove feedback app?
You don't. The Feedback app has been a part of iOS, iPadOS, and macOS thru each regular & beta release. You can get to it by entering this in a browser window on any of your devices--

applefeedback://

Or, use this Shortcut I created and then add it to your home screen as an app to make it easier.

You can’t get rid of it, though, you can only remove it from your home screen.

Everyone should enjoy this person’s leaks while you can. I’m sure Apple is searching under every rock for them.

The poster is obviously an attention hound. Was begging Jon Prosser for a follow and also begging Elon Musk to expedite a verified account approval.
Woke up to this. Twitter account deactivated? What happened…

This person was an absolute idiot on a scale much like the national security leaker of a few weeks ago. It was quite apparent that this person was actively working with someone who had access (or thought they had access) to iOS 17 and related OSes. If the insider was not a false flag operative, of course he/she put their job at risk.

I’m not wild about rumors in general (notwithstanding the site we all post on). Much of it amounts to industrial espionage. Of course, Apple is - to put it mildly - not happy about this. This person was pumping the material out purely as an ego boost. They were blocked by Greg Joswiak last week, which should have been his/her first indication that Apple was paying attention. But no, they kept going ahead. I saw at least a couple of replies to their posts warning them about the likely consequences but they disregarded it.

And if they deleted the twitter account thinking they’ve covered their tracks…LOL. You can delete your account but the internet (and Twitter’s backup archives) live forever.

I would be very wary of relying on any of the information that this person leaked (except that material later confirmed by Gurman).

Agree with your assessment and anyone following this knew that this was bound to happen. This analyst also blatantly tweeted out that someone close to him (friend or family member, I can’t recall) has direct access to the leaked material. I wouldn’t be surprised if Apple has been intentionally feeding different info to different teams to narrow down who the mole is.

They posted a final post as well:

Yes. I’m sure they intentionally sabotage their own software to get people to adopt other software for which users pay nothing.

Honestly people, where do you get these ridiculous ideas?

I didn't mean it in that way as to intentionally sabotage their software, I just hope they are at least aware of it and it's something they're looking into...that's all. It's just kind of hard to get any kind of transparency from them even using the feedback app with some of them spanning multiple versions.

I think they are aware of every minute detail of nearly every bug. At least ones reported to them. Fixes aren't always as easy as we think and may take a release or two to update...or not wirth the trouble depending on what they are working on.

Bugs that affect every single user are fixed within a day...always has been the case in my experience. I still remember Apple Music on CarPlay breaking last year with an update. Fixed within 24 hours...thankfully, server side.

And even "widespread" bugs are really not as prevalent as we may think on here. We are power users and notice every little change or issue that may not affect the average user. Apple takes all of this into consideration and only prioritizes anything that may break the system or make the news. It's really that simple...but they do know.
