Ofc but it can be so simple that they forgot a closing bracket in the code then the code will not pass and maybe they dident have the time to validate the code.

It’s not like some person just can modifying the code.
Every change need to pass trough validations and reviews etc.
It take time, and today someone might be sick :)

My point is that watchOS did not get released because of something and my guess is that it will get released tomorrow or Friday.
I assume it will be released with the release of the public betas, presumably tomorrow. It must have been a serious error, because bugs have all versions, that's why these betas are.

No serious developer will think like that. They want to kill the bugs as if they don’t no one have tested it before production release

so funny how one piece of punctuation can break a whole process. One time we couldn't process any orders because someone put an errant comma in the code

Should be 2 weeks but then that doesn’t give them many beta releases in August so who knows.

I think we are still at 2 weeks. I see the remaining cadence as:

Beta 5: Tues August 9
Beta 6: Tues August 16
Beta 7: Tues August 23
Beta 8: Tues August 30
iPhone announcement and RC: Tues Sept 13
Public iOS release: Monday September 19
iPhone deliveries: Fri Sept 23

I can't believe we are less than 60 days away till we will be rocking iPhone 14.

It seems that watchos is running out of public beta for now as well. what will be happening, I'm already curious to know what error has arisen haha

Hmm. Did Apple finally get around to segmenting the WatchOS beta to dev/public? On the PB train and not seeing the WatchOS update this afternoon. (previously there appeared to be no separation).

Edit: And, yes, before anyone points it out - I know this isn't a WatchOS thread. :D

You’re forgiven! I don’t think anyone maintains an equivalent WatchOS thread any more. There used to be a “little things” thread there but no longer.

I’ve given up on Tuesdays as it’s all been Wednesdays pretty much.

...just to close the loop on WatchOS - they did finally segment the Public testers from Dev this time around, PB2 of WatchOS out today.
