"autofocus will focus faster on small distant objects when zoomed in on 15PM"

Bruh, the autofocus wouldn't focus at all on distant objects. It would just stay a blurry mess, and never lock focus. If I wanted to get a shot of the moon, I usually had to go use a third-party camera app, and manually focus.

Not mentioned are new heat issues. My iPhone after update runs extremely hot and battery drains even quicker now.
Hmm, give it a day or two or three and if it still runs hot and drains battery, then something may be amiss. It's not unusual for various background activities to occur for a while after major update has occurred.

This journal app is disappointing. It does not have macOS app, limited navigation, no way to categorize i.e. your professional life from personal life, and it forces you to use only phone. And there seems to be a bug with a disappearing edit icon. If you slide an entry to the left, you will see edit icon. Now if you slide an entry left right left right, this icon will magically disappear.
These features are ready to go, but OS bugs prevented them from being released. The OS bug team is evidently on holiday.

iMessage Contact Key Verification

I mean...you need to have Sonoma 14.2 in order for it to be enabled, but Advanced Data Protection requires Ventura at least.
There was really no way to make iMessage contact key verification compatible with Ventura too?!?

Does anyone know if Apple Music is now capable of favouriting an artist then being able to single tap on that artist to get to their discography? Last time I checked you had to add each artists album to your library individually. Spotify you can simply follow an artist and they appear in your library and when you tap on them it shows their discography.

AppStore categories still not turned on for me.

Also, I can’t seem to find a way to edit what I want in Journal suggestions, except going into Settings and turning off the whole thing.
Me neither, also I don‘t have the option to turn on Siri for Health…

at least the lock screen clock be colored black
Not quite sure why this clock widget doesn't have a dark mode...just blaring white.
Except in StandBy mode. 🤷🏻‍♂️

often, when apple does not provide an apple made app for something, the rationale is frequently that they want to see what the independent 3rd party develops can do with that category.
if apple did go ahead and provide these kind of apps immediately there would be a lot fewer serious apps in the app store.
even how the apple new journal app is structured in terms of how data/info gets into it is different, in order to protect current iPad journal apps.

Except Apple is already way behind the curve on this one.

Updated to 17.2 and tried exactly what was suggested:
“Siri, how many steps have I taken today?”
“I can’t help you with that.”
“Siri, what is my heart rate?”
“I can’t help you with that.”
iPhone 15 Pro Max
Apple Watch Series 7
Siri suuuux.

I tried about an hour ago and got answers to those questions plus averages for different time periods when I asked for it

I miss being able to see hourly weather forecast without having to use a widget so large that only 2 rows of apps can fit underneath.

Does anyone know where to source the beach wallpaper shown under
