I don’t know why, because the beta was so stable, but my 17.4 experience has been really bad. Battery life has gotten worse and I’ve noticed more bugs than I have in iOS 17 in a long time. Emails don’t load, notifications slide off the screen or enlarge infinitely, animations sometimes straight up don’t load (this happened in maps, no transitions between actions), and the list goes on. Never had so many issues with a public release this late in the cycle.

17.4 on iPad Pro M2 and IP13M has been the buggiest update I have ever seen from Apple.

My Wifi doesn't connect and goes to "searching" 80% of the time when rejoining after leaving the house. Feels like this bug has been here for years.

The email client became wonky in all of my devices with iOS 17. The synching is off, with only some emails indicating they were read even though I did read them on one of the devices. The same with deletions. And it’s not consistent. I made no changes in my settings.

I really hate these overdramatic terms like Imminent. I hear it following the stock market a lot (Like on Earnings days) and it's so cringeworthy. If it was imminent, they would have released it already.

Don’t read rumors sites if you aren’t into drama 🎭 😂

Hopefully it fixes issues with iPad Smart Cover ever since 17.4 randomly theres times when I open cover it doesn’t wake up even push power button doesn’t work. It eventually wakes up tho

a complete restore and setup as new doesn’t fix it

I get device not supported using the exact cable that came with the phone in my car. Must be a glitch with CarPlay. Cable has been replaced. Two updates later still happens. Charges fine though.

HomeKit also has a bug. With the 17.4 update, I lost all connections to my Nanoleaf devices.
Interesting. I just got three new Nanoleaf bulbs from Apple, and I'm so happy with them. Now I'm worried. Have you used the Nanoleaf app to reconnect?

With the 17.4 update I lost connection to all my Nanoleaf devices in the Nanoleaf app and the Home app. I haven't been able to connect the devices since then.

That’s weird as mine still work fine both in the home and nanoleaf apps

Looks like we’re back to the tcp/ip/cellular stack having issues going from WiFi to cellular again … hey guys, don’t touch the stack!
