Weird update: still running the same beta (tho there is now a new one ready to install) and dictation is back, but in an older/different appearance. So something must have changed on the server side. See attached -- the mic button launches a huge area with no "stop" button. Dictation does work, and I can tap anywhere in the sound wave area to stop it listening. I'll report back once I've installed the new beta.
Your update caused me to check mine. It’s currently working! 🥳 I haven’t installed the new beta yet, but now I’m scared to lol
Hopefully it continues to work after the update. 🤞🏼

They give the discount on Apple gift cards so you can get an additional 5% on purchases made with them at an Apple store.

Plus they occasionally give a Target gift card with purchases so you get a double bonus.
I bought $400 at Christmas for the equivalent of $323. Good deal!

More useless crap, while Apple petulantly refuses to fix the iPhone's most idiotic and insulting defect: its lack of audible notifications of missed calls.

Doesn't Settings>Notifications>Phone>Sounds do that? Or are you wanting something else?

Actually no! Years ago Apple added notifications for texts, but left them off the essentially identical screen for the phone. Unbelievable.

This post, from 12 years ago ago, is still true.

Ate you referring to periodic reminders? I get notifications of missed calls on my phone.

I'm talking about audible (and/or vibratory) reminders; the kind that would actually be effective. The kind that Apple inexplicably added for texts but not calls, as explained in the linked article.
