I get that the whole point of Contact Posters is people being able to customize the way they're seen on others' iPhones, but damn…do I wish I could make ones for people that I know will never get around to it. 😂
I would love that feature as well. Anybody older than 40 in my contacts list won’t do it, so I’ve had to go through my pics and crop a pic for them 😂.

But that‘s how it works? There is a contact poster section in every contact card that allows you to set one up for a contact in case they don‘t do it or you don‘t like the poster they shared with you (overwrite theirs).

Would be an absolute PR nightmare for Apple if there was no way for you to control how contacts show up on your phone otherwise.

Are any of these improvements coming to macOS? (I haven't got the beta.) Like an update to the Contacts app? Or are we stuck with something that looks like it was designed in 2005?

ahh, classic case of me not digging deep enough. allow me to /whoosh myself out the door and thank you for the correction. 😆

When Apple will let us see more recent calls history other than few days
Not sure if this is different for me based on country, or number of calls I’ve made / received, but I’m able to see at least 100 calls in my recent calls list that date back 2 months.

Is this not the same for everyone?

My call log go back to 7/1. I don’t know how many calls that is on my phone.

An improvement I’ve been looking for on incoming calls is the verification checkmark. On iOS 16 it is not displayed while the phone is ringing, only after once it is listed in missed calls.

Does anyone know if they have added the checkmark for verified calls on the incoming call screen of iOS 17?

Apple letting you see the last 100 recent calls history. When comparing to Samsung for example, Samsung letting you see the recent calls for months, or since when you start using your phone. I don't expect Apple to do such a thing, but let me see at least 2 months back. Right now I can only go back to last Thursday.

Oh okay that make sense.
