Euhm, what about the mail app that is broken? It takes ages to load mails and messages retrieved via imap are not immediately visible.

It’s infuriating. I’m not on the beta channel, I expect a released version of iOS to have a working mail app. For me, the IMAP bug has just been a major annoyance. Can’t imagine if I was depending on it professionally!

16 Pro Max user here since day 1. Great battery life on all iOS 18 releases (greatest from all pro Maxes i owned, 15, 14 and so on). Check your apps.

Wishing for a device in the next few years ( 15PM here so no rush to upgrade ) that would entice me or I’m going android! They caught up quite nicely.

Still running 17.7.2 and maybe if 18.2.1 is hopefully not a dud like the previous 18.x updates, i'll finally switch to iOS 18 in the new year. Until now i don't see a single attraction that drives me to update. All the new stuff is implemented in such an extremely poor way. Either not really functioning or in - best case - alpha/beta quality, f.e. "AI", even mail and the rearranging of icons. I'm really not impressed at all... 👎
