The second iOS 18.4 beta that Apple released today adds new Apple Intelligence features to Control Center, providing some quick access options to select Apple Intelligence features.

There are dedicated Control Center buttons for activating Siri so you can speak to the personal assistant and activating Visual Intelligence, with these features joining the prior option for activating Type to Siri. Note that Type to Siri has been moved to the Apple Intelligence section instead of the Siri section.

The features are available on all iPhones that support Apple Intelligence, including the iPhone 15 Pro models and all iPhone 16 models. Visual Intelligence is new to the iPhone 15 Pro, and on the iPhone 16 models, the Control Center option for activating it is new.

Prior to now, activating Visual Intelligence could only be done with a long press on the Camera Control button. There's also now a new Action Button option that can be used for Visual Control on the iPhone 16 models and the iPhone 15 Pro models.

I can talk and type to Siri now without Apple Intelligence. If they change it so you can ONLY use Siri with Apple Intelligence enabled, well I guess I’ll stop using Siri.
um ok but apple intelligence is not only siri and siri will be smarter in the next months

Do they add it to the control center even if you already customize the center?

Not so sure whether this is required today especially considering the state of Apple Intelligence. Anyway good to see it and should be useful once more features are added to Apple Intelligence.

I'm sure Apple's working on it and it'll be released when it's ready. You need to give Apple time... like how we gave Apple time (14 years?) to release a Calculator app for the iPad
Damn we will need to wait around 14 years for all of this then...

yo.. this always happens to me. I’m definitely on beta but I don’t have this option in control center.
