Am I the only one who’d like to be able to remove holidays I don’t celebrate so that my calendar doesn’t look like I always have something going on?

I was fortunate enough to purchase the apps and then get grandfathered in. I get some pro features without a subscription. Its an integral part of my business life, but I don't want to add another monthly overhead to my life! So a budding alternative definitely has my interest.Apple making a move like this will definitely get them to notice.
Fantastical has been moving more and more towards business clients with their offering, in my opinion. I used them early on before they went sub.
I was grandfathered in as well but, how they handle things didn’t sit well with me and I deleted my account.I was fortunate enough to purchase the apps and then get grandfathered in. Yeah, if I want to have gmail calendars push instead of fetch, or have additonal custom calendar views it's $8 a month here in Canada. I didn't go for the sub but I still use it all the time.I was grandfathered in as well but, how they handle things didn’t sit well with me and I deleted my account.
I’ve been telling them weekly for 4 years now to fix the bug where the Watch Sleep Battery Charging Reminder doesn’t alert me to charge when low but they’ve yet to listen.View attachment 2389929
I think they added this feature just to stop me from constantly telling them.
Isn't that Commodore Pet basic code?10 Apple users: Make the built in apps better and more integrated (because they are free)
20 Apple: Ok
30 EU: Hold my beer, didn't someone say we need more money, I know where to get some

How hideous! That is Microsoft-pioneered flat design. The fact that Tim Cook prefers that instead of Apple-pioneered skeuomorphic design shows how he deeply lacks taste and an understanding of user-friendliness. Such bland Microsoft-inspired flat design would've never happened if Scott Forstall was still in charge of iOS.
A very welcoming change, it's looking a lot more like Fantastical, if Sequoia gets a menu bar calendar dropdown that will be one less needed subscription!
Select the Holidays calendar, drag the holidays you want to keep to one of your calendars on the left (which will copy it) then unselect the Holidays calendar.Am I the only one who’d like to be able to remove holidays I don’t celebrate so that my calendar doesn’t look like I always have something going on?
If you want to “feel the sense of completion” you need to switch to TODAY list view.Do reminders immediately disappear after you've checked?
In the Reminders app in iOS17, if you check a repeating reminder, it disappears and reappears as the upcoming reminder. You never get a sense of completion. Is this fixed in iOS18?
