iOS 18: Replace or Remove Lock Screen Camera and Flashlight Icons

The swipe left to access the camera app is my most hated "feature" of iOS. I have accidentally activated it too many times to count while trying to dismiss notifications that I swear that the developer that implemented this is laughing behind my back when I do it. 😂

You probably don’t have an ipad where they have a swipe feature that randomly switches to a different app. Infuriating when you are playing a game and suddenly you are in a different app. Maybe it is the same developer.

If you want to add messages as I do you have to hit “+” then “open app” then messaging

you can just swiped left on the lock screen to activate the camera. What do you need it as a button for?

I find the button more convenient. Feel free to swipe if you like it better.

Try pulling it out of your pants pocket by grabbing the lower end— happens all the time. Is that a flashlight in your pocket or are you happy to see me? 😄

Pull the phone out by its sides. That keeps the display cleaner as well.

Please someone tell me how I can stop the annoying "swipe left opens camera app" feature on my iPhone and iPad. I h**e this "feature." I've looked for 'how to" but haven't found anything that works.
