It's a very risky prediction, but there's nothing written about speculations and by logical reasoning either, but lately Apple is distracted with the betas!! 👍🤣🤣😎😎My personal speculation:

RC today?
Public release next week 28.10.
The only thing I foresee messing up an RC release today is the potential announcement this week of new Mac hardware.RC today?
Public release next week 28.10.
So we’re not getting 18.1 this week after all despite all the rumors. That sucks![]()
Apple confirms iOS 18.1 is launching next week - 9to5Mac
Apple has officially confirmed that iOS 18.1 will launch to the public next week, alongside a major new firmware update...9to5mac.com
Why would you have ever expected it to launch today? So we’re not getting 18.1 this week after all despite all the rumors. That sucks
What? Apple is no more or less “distracted” than any other year. It's a very risky prediction, but there's nothing written about speculations and by logical reasoning either, but lately Apple is distracted with the betas!! 👍🤣🤣😎😎
My prediction is that if Apple has identified the cause of the battery drain issues some users are having, they will release 18.0.2 today, followed by 18.1 RC tomorrow, which will include the battery drain fixes. If they have not resolved the issue yet, they will release 18.1 RC today.
My hunch is it's 18.1 RC today.
You're probably right. I hope that version 18.1 or the quick release of 18.1.1 will fix the battery issues for those of us experiencing them.Unless we have a major security issue, there is pretty much a zero chance of getting 18.0.2 in general. We are to close to a public release for 18.1
