All Apple ever said was December. Those outlets are just reporting on rumors because there is no actual news. Most of them are just repeating what Gurman said and Gurman is frequently off on his dates. Could still be the 9th. But could be the 31st too.

we can disagree to agree but I paid a lot to have Apple Intelligence RC and with holiday season here are they going to give us refunds? I doubt it.

Right, but certain outlets had internally had indications the 9th was the date. Typically apple uses a week or 4 days to do testing ahead of a final deployment. But given the quality of software from apple since summer, this is why I suspect issues and none of our iPhone 16 PMs run very smoothly on beta 4 or before with stuttering etc. 15 PMs no issue at all.
