Meanwhile any Tom, Dick or Harry can still take unsolicited pictures from your lock screen and have them de facto uploaded to your iCloud account without your knowledge or permission 🤦♂️
Doesn't this already exist? I have my Amazon app set to only open with my face because my nephews play on my phone all the time and I didn't want them hopping on there and buying a ton of crap..

Many third party apps already have this feature, such as my bank and home automation controls, but not the native iOS apps. This feature would be iOS-app specific.
This is pointless though... if someone has your phone in hand and has made it that far then they are going to get the text notification with the code lol.

Yeah, some apps can do it already if the devs enable the feature, but this will now make it available to ANY app from the OS level
Unless you did it with shortcuts, the only apps AFIAK that had native face ID locking are notes (protected notes), and also in settings for accessing saved passwords
Would be nice if we could lock an entire app folder at once too
Also, would still be nice to get proper multiple user profiles. The ability to have a private space inside of a user profile / user space is good, but it'd also be nice to have a completely separate user profile plus a guest mode.
