Food tracking would be huge. I find MyFitness Pal to be inaccurate sometimes and it takes so long to edit nutrient data. If we could scan the table with the camera and have it autofill or something that would be so easy.
Considering how stupid is apple "intelligence" if you scanned the table with a plate full of food iOS would probably assume what you are eating is a giant chocolate table and put one million calories in your diary.

I hope they don’t expect us to pay extra for this. I’m not taking out any more subscriptions to additional services. In a 1500 quid phone I expect to get these facilities built in and accessible included in the price.

I’ve made a conscious effort to ditch subscriptions and it’s saved me a lot of money. I’m not going back.
Likewise. I keep subscription to a bare minimum of services that actually develop content (for example streaming services, and even then I keep them to one or two at a time that I periodically stop and alternate with others). Id an app wants to monetise something with me they'd better offer a reasonably priced lifetime option or I am not buying it and I am certainly not going to subscribe to it.

How about settling your lawsuit with massimo and reactivating the oximeter on the Apple Watch. Instead of boring us with AI health coaching.

I only want a simple tracking/logging app (I mostly use it for step counting). All those suggestions and recommendations are just clutter to me, so this rumored revamp is making the app worse for me

Apple needs to acknowledge they're getting behind the curve and not shoot for the .4 releases, instead allowing features to mature more and bring them out in the .0 release.

Time for another 'skip year' like with Snow Leopard. Fix some of the many issues and inconsistencies too.

Not sure how correctly it will work. Also disappointing to hear that it won't be part of initial release and will take around 1 year from now. Also will not be surprised if it is available only in a few countries initially.

"Apple Health+ service" Really? Apple wants to monetise our own health data? Another service / subscription?

I appreciate these are all rumours, and the Apple teams are working on multiple things; but the Apple Intelligence fiasco, removes a lot of the trust in the company. And now, they are considering a subscription for health data and insights? FFS. This company needs a rehaul and reinvent themselves again.

And this is coming from a fanboy

It’s an adjunct to personal medical advice, not a replacement.
I know, but I wouldn’t put any stock into AI generated health recommendations at all, honestly. Some of these measurements the Health app records are way off sometimes.

Like it says I have a VO2 Max of 27.9, which is low. But my walking heart rate average for the month is 87, which is really good, and I don’t get out of breath easily. In fact my resting heart rate overall the past year is 59, which is on par with athletes. So considering VO2 Max is about oxygen in the blood, and my heart is clearly not working extra hard to deliver it to the rest of the body, something isn’t adding up.

iOS 19.4 is very specific. If it’s that far away why don’t they just keep it for iOS 20.

Hopefully you can opt out unlike the advertising for Apple cash that pops up in Wallet after each OS update.

Got it! AI-made title, saw so much features "expected for iOS 18.4" that it inferred iOS 19.4 was the next big release

FOOD TRACKING?! That's way more of a deal than the AI doctor! I've been using Cronometer (MyFitnessPal competitor) for years now, ever since college. Why would they not put this in the title?! I would've never known unless I read this. Now I'm excited!

You are getting into some measurements that require equipment that cannot be replaced by a watch and simple software. It gives a simple but false sense of health and should only be used as basic information.
