Literally couldn’t not watch this video past the halfway point because he was so obnoxious. And it was trying making it that far.
His jokes, attitude, and overall demeanor are like nails on a chalkboard. I’ve always seen the complaints about him, but never really listened to him before this video. ☠️

Hopefully these renders are based on one of many prototypes and is outdated, because if iOS 19 is even loosely based on or resembling of these renders, then we better prepare for disappointment. This is not the ”major redesign” that will ”conceptually change how iOS works” that we were expecting and were promised by Gurman.
Wouldn’t expect a major redesign honestly.

I found him funny for a hot minute many, many, many moons ago. It did not last long though. It is not just him. I don't even bother going onto YouTube much anymore because everything I watched on there (with the exception of music) got stale very fast.

DO NOT DO THIS TO US!!!

Glassmorphism is yet another type of flat design. Flat design was one of the worst things to ever happen to the GUI, but Tim Cook is too much of a dimwit to realize that. Dim Tim has no taste, which is why he allowed Jony Ive to copy the Microsoft-pioneered monstrosity known as flat design. Apple should rehire Scott Forstall and go back to the exact same skeumorphic design that was used in iOS 6.

A third of MacRumors users seem to believe Gurman, a third believe Prosser, a third don't believe either one, and the last third don't know what to believe and are fairly content to wait.

This guy gets it!

Apple had absolutely BEAUTIFUL design back then, and just destroyed everything good about the way iOS looked.

Nothing I've seen out of this supposed "redesign" is in any way an improvement. It doesn't fix flat. It doesn't make you want to use the device. It makes looking at it something to put up with.

With multiple leaks pointing to a change, I think that there will be visual changes for sure with this year's update. Waiting to hear more in the coming weeks and months.

Yes, what everyone wants is iOS Vista. I'm looking forward to this being completely wrong, but preparing for disappointment.

iOS 19 will reportedly be well beyond a fresh coat of paint, Apple executives think users will love it

Apple executives are reportedly confident that users will love iOS 19. According to Mark Gurman's latest newsletter, iOS 19 is set to "alter the way people interact with their devices for many years to come."

Sorry but after watching Jons video, this is all lies. It's just a minor ui change like buttons. How will this change how people interact with their devices.
Or Prosser is the one that is wrong.

watch the video, its not round

Then that's one of the ones he confusingly made up and put in the thumbnail. I'm not one of the ones constantly going on about Prosser but I kind of wish he'd just pick a lane. Best thing he's done lately in my opinion was that WWDC parody video. He seems better at parody than actual leaks. I think Apple has burned a lot of his sources.

Whatever fill fix dark mode which looks messy in some places, both on phone and mac, will be welcomed.
