Disable the action button when you are on a call. I used it to mute the phone but if you press it while on a call it drops. Being left handed this became an issue so I had to disable the button.

Where? I have no issues at all.
Messages first delivered then marked as not sent, or content taking ages to send, or received files not readable; notes that randomly cuts and pastes content while typing.
Just to name a few.

A couple more ideas I've thought of.

-Better third party monitor support. This mainly applies to the Mac and iPad, maybe the iPhone if it gets better external display support. I have an app on my Mac that lets me adjust brightness and volume on my non-Apple display. Why can’t this just be baked into the OS? And let me connect a touch screen monitor to my iPad/iPhone. For the iPad being a touch-first based OS, it's kind of weird that I can’t use a touch screen monitor with it. If Apple builds one with full Apple Pencil support, I'd consider getting one. When I was still a Windows user, I used a touch screen on a movable mount so I could use it like a regular monitor, or I could adjust it down and use it as a large touch screen.

-Make the "Speak Screen" control better on iPhone and iPad. I'm not even sure if this is on the Mac or not. Sometimes when reading I like to use this, it helps me comprehend things a little better especially when trying to learn something new. Most of the time, it works fine in the Apple Books app. It will use Siri's voice to read along, and automatically turn to the next page and keep reading. But, it's buggy. If I have it set to highlight the words as it's reading them, sometimes it's out of sync. Sometimes it just stops reading instead of turning the page. I can just get the audio book version, but I don’t believe there's a way to listen and read at the same time - though I think this is possible in the Kindle app if I ever switch to that. If I’m using it in CarPlay to read to me while I’m driving, the audio (Probably intentionally) cuts in and out like a bad radio signal.

Very strange. I have not encountered any of those. Hope you get it worked out.

Charge limit setting on older devices.

Ability to check/start firmware updates on AirPods, Pencils, MagSafe chargers, etc.

Ability to restore/revive a Mac/iPhone/iPad/etc from iPhone/iPad.

Battery health reporting on older devices (iPad), cycle count on older devices.

They need to expand Visual Intelligence capabilities system-wide. When I take a screenshot of something, I should be able to tap into those features. And you should be able to upload existing images to Visual Intelligence.
How well does visual intelligence work ? Does it work better than look up? Look up is pretty inaccurate.

I don’t use visual intelligence often but it is nice to be able to ask ChatGPT. The search google feature works surprisingly well. All in all, 8/10 (sometimes it doesn’t know what i am trying to find or ask about)

I hate when android has features and iOS doesn’t. Hence here is my iOS 19 Wishlist.

Apple these are essentials - Please implement them:

  1. No Universal Back or Forward Gestures
  2. No Different Sound Levels Options
  3. No PiP for Google Maps or Apple Maps
  4. No Option to set Default Number when a contact has two or more numbers
  5. No mentioning in how many hours till alarm will ring
  6. No Universal Clipboard
  7. No Numbers Row when Typing on Default Keyboard
  8. No Scrolling Screenshots outside of Apps made by Apple

I think those two are limited by the battery/charging technology in those devices.
Possibly, I don’t believe that is the case though. I think we will never get those features unfortunately.

Optimised battery charging can hold the charge at 80% on earlier devices.

iPhone and iPad have a charge management feature to reduce the capacity while charging for prolonged periods.

If health and cycle count show in analytic logs or on-device diagnostics, there is no reason it can’t be read and shown in settings.

If optimised charging can hold a charge at 80%, there is no reason it can’t just use that as its maximum, it’s likely it could also adjust to any percentage, if not just an 80% option would be fantastic.

If iPad and iPhone have the ability to reduce max capacity while on charge for extended periods, there is software and hardware support of some kind to limit charging.

There is another thing that I don’t think I will ever see, but I would love for the Apple weather app, when telling the weather, to also give the pollen count and amount. Not only would it help runners and walkers, but anybody just out shopping or bicycling or any outdoor activity for the millions of us who suffered from allergies.

That’s a nice ask. The weather app has a lot of good information so it would be nice to add the pollen count also.
