What is app redraw ? When it flashes the app icon?
I have the update on my 13I don’t have the redraw problem, but then I’m using an iPhone 13 so maybe that’s the difference. Speaking of which, is today’s update not available for older iPhones. As I am not seeing it.
Why don’t you just force restart? There’s not much indexing going for a point release. Both my Air and 17 Pro are running really warm after this update. Hope it’s just the indexing and background processes. And hope it finishes soon. Especially noticeable on the Air camera plateau. Quite toasty.
I did. On both. They cool off after not using them. As soon as I start using them for texting or browsing this site, they start to warm up. So bizarre. Why don’t you just force restart? There’s not much indexing going for a point release.
Have you tried turning off the new “Smart Display Zoom” feature? That made CarPlay very low res and pixelated on my car.Still getting CarPlay issues (pixelation) on my wife's Air.
How do you do that?Have you tried turning off the new “Smart Display Zoom” feature? That made CarPlay very low res and pixelated on my car.
Apple wrote it’s fixed. That’s the apple software magic. They can fix nearly anything, otherwise a bumper is offered for free.Tried to recreate the WiFi drop on my 17PM and after about a dozen tries still not dropping
Yay
Just checked and the option isn't there in my car, just an option to Show Album Art in Now Playing.Have you tried turning off the new “Smart Display Zoom” feature? That made CarPlay very low res and pixelated on my car.
Yeah I got something similar without tinted. Overall there's a lot of flashings and redraw which is pretty painful for my poor eyesI believe it’s this (see icons on the right when I swipe on to page 2), when using clear or tinted icons. (This is from 26.1 beta 1.)
I’d seen it much worse on earlier 26.0 betas, it used to do it on every page every single time when swiping back or forward between them.

I updated with the Apple Devices for Windows program, and it didn't heat up at all during the process. A little while later, it cooled down, and it's still like that. Try updating with the ipsw file. There may be a background process that isn't stopping. Both my Air and 17 Pro are running really warm after this update. Hope it’s just the indexing and background processes. And hope it finishes soon. Especially noticeable on the Air camera plateau. Quite toasty.
My slow to connect WiFi is completely fixed!Superfast download, ~860MB on my Air. I hope they fix the WiFi issues on the N1. I don't have the random disconnects that others are experiencing but it's slow to connect to WiFi when the device wakes up.
Sounds the same to me. (Fine)Any improvements on Air’s speaker? When it’s max volume, there is no cracking sound anymore. Can someone confirm?
The same as before for me: can still hear crackling sound on 26.0.1, if volume > 50-60%. Did someone already reported this problem to Apple?Any improvements on Air’s speaker? When it’s max volume, there is no cracking sound anymore. Can someone confirm?
