ooh didn't know you could have lyrics on the lockscreen from the music app. How do I do that? Can't seem to find an option to.

Looks like Apple knows about the saturation bug and tried fixing it this beta but just made it worse 🤣

I don’t think they’re competent enough to fix these visual bugs as we think they should be. Pray for Apple

Perhaps it hasn’t been “fixed” and likely never will be, because it is by design. The re-emphasis of the icons outline is intentional. I don’t understand why a few can’t see this, accept it and move on.

That would be fine if they actually responded with “working as designed” which they have in the past when certain issues were reported. Since the “more than 10” designation appears for this issue they have certainly gotten a significant number of reports, and if it were by design I would expect them to so indicate. But they have not.

All my conversations on my Air on B3 have that blur at the top and I can’t replicate what you’re seeing so must be one of those random bugs that are selective in who they inflict their bugginess on.

I figured it out. It has to do with if your list has a text header or not. I disabled contact photos so just the persons name appears at the top and now all my conversations have that blur at the top

Seems like this old bug has resurfaced. When a focus is set like DND and the call comes in, on the phone app there is no badge icon showing that there is a missed call. I actually have to open the app to see it which kind of defeats the purpose. I get it on my iPad, but that’s it. It doesn’t even show up on my watch.

Yeah, it looks a bit less opaque to me now than it did yesterday for some reason. I think Apple updated something over the servers or something.

I just updated to beta 3 on my iPad Pro 11. When I try to play a video in YouTube it skips and stutters at the beginning and sometimes advises it can’t play the video. I rebooted the iPad, deleted YouTube and re-installed but it didn’t fix it. Anyone else having this issue? Any remedies? I did send in the feedback to Apple.

This is a server issue with YouTube. Seems many people are having this problem outside of iOS 26.

Yes, they are fixed in 26.1. This was the reason I’ve installed these betas.

Ey at least you got a response.
The one time I got a response it was for a Touch Bar bug. I was asked if it’s resolved in the latest macOS Version. Problem was, the Mac’s I had that have this issue couldn’t run the then latest version of macOS.

Okay, so related to the banding issue. I am going to update some info.
I just noticed that it maybe is a bug for the Photos App, not sure, but I just reviewed the photos I added to the feedback I just gave, and when I see them from the safari web browser, there is no banding at all, but when you check in photos app yes. I made a screenshot of both

Is it because on the phone you are viewing the thumbnail version. The full version is the one stored in iCloud. When you upload the image to Feedback it will probably download and submit the full version

It is worse now. Even after reboot it takes a couple of seconds for it to desaturate again. Before you could at least switch between wallpapers and it would stick.

Is anyone having keyboard problems? On iPad and beta 3, the on-screen keyboard won’t open most of the time, and if it does, it is so sluggish it can’t be used. It doesn’t respond. Reboots don’t help. Swipe up from the bottom to go to the home screen or task switcher isn’t working most of the time either. The iPad is basic unusable like this.

26.1 beta 2 was the smoothest of any of the 26 beta releases yet for me, and now beta 3 is the buggiest beta I think I've ever installed.

I have the exact same problem on my M2 iPad Air 11”. It takes 5 seconds for the keyboard to appear systemwide. No solutions yet. I hope it would be fixed next week.

This is happening to me too on both my iPad M4 and iPhone 17 Pro Max so you are not alone. I usually restart the devices and it then updates. Hope this helps.
