Yea I’m sure the public release will be a new build. This one sucks.yeah this is a huge set back, this cant be the public version, what have they been doing for months, they cant fix simple ui issues. Liquid Glass has been a pain since its release

The stutter when swiping from the widget page to the main Home Screen is pretty gnarly. Yikes.
I just connected my phone to the charger, and it’s getting warm. The bug immediately reappears.Restart, then do some normal things and make note of exactly when it stops working again. Mine seems to stay working.
Just update.. can’t be any worse than 26.0.1Hmm, so consensus is don’t update to RC?
Swipe from the widget page to the home screen and you’ll get a stutter.running smooth on my iPhone Air no stutters here
It’s far better than what you’re on.Hmm, so consensus is don’t update to RC?
i actually don't get a stutter on my device at all doing that. and if i do its so small my eyes can't percieve itSwipe from the widget page to the home screen and you’ll get a stutter.
If "indexing" is causing UI stuttering, that is in itself a failure in the system design, especially for scrolling. My Air is def still stuttery. Little hitches everywhere when scrolling. So bizarre. Feels way worse than 26.0.1. Hope it’s indexing stuff slowing it down because this is a big downgrade.
Interesting, I'm not seeing this on my 17 Pro. Hated this bug though, that's for sure.
I’m seeing this as well on my 13 Pro. A 3-step animation stutter from widget page to my single Home Screen and vice versa. It’s now a bit smoother altho the lag from the widget page to Home Screen is even worse now and still hitches everywhere.
Is your device on Low Power Mode? That will cause that.General iOS 26 question, does anyone else NOT have these shiny borders that move? Mine are fixed and I thought they move as you move your device.
iPhone 13
Not experiencing this on my 13 Pro fwiw.
