Does it bother anyone else that one change in 26 is that the date is only formatted as "Tue" and "Nov" with no option to go back to how it was on 18 with the full "Tuesday" and "November"? Just don't really get why the shorthand is the only option now

As of right now, the podcast creator has to do it as 26.2 won't be available until next month (or a little sooner than that if you're on the developer or public betas)

Is anyone else having issues with iOS 26 rendering SLOOOWWW? I have an iPhone 16 Pro Max and when opening/unlocking the phone I can see the app icons rendering rather than a fast response. Anyone else seeing this? Makes the os seem bloated.

Only jittery behaviour I've noticed is when on low power mode, otherwise it flies.

It's been ages since I've used Apple Music offline as songs that were downloaded refused to play without a handshake when connected - I had to seek an alternate solution as it was so spotty & frustrating.

Has this been rectified yet or does it still rely on a handshake before it starts?

I also have hiccups kn the ipad pro M5 from faceid or returning to the homescreen taking a second after unlocking to actually sometimes seing icons redraw as you mentioned. On a freaking M5!

I don't care about those ridiculous small feature additiins, but maybe some bug-hunting would be in order? 26.1. made things better, but at that pace, half of the bugs will still be there in iOS 27 and then be forgotten and never fixed.

Thank you. My old M2 iPad Pro does the same thing. I was going to upgrade to the M5 since my current one is slow. No idea what they did to iOS 26, but it needs lots of bug fixes. Stop the enhancements and fix the bug Apple.

Well, it is good to know that it isn't related to my iPad M3 only having 8 gb of RAM
