Having said that, redraw is the silliest name for the app icon issue. They’re not being drawn. They’re being repopulated.

Icon and folder redrawing still occurs, but I think that’s permanent. The devices can’t cope with the demands of ios 26 if you have a lot of folders containing multiple items: apps and web links, as I do. I spent 5-6 hours after resetting my Home Screen, which wiped out all the folders, to reorganize everything. No redrawing initially, but after all those hours reorganizing everything back down to two home screens with multiple folders that contain numerous items, the redrawing returned.

Sorry it didn’t work for you. It’s a pita.
