That there were only 2 widgets in that widget screen.

Ah, I’ve only had one configured so that explains it.

Reset your homescreen in settings. It fixed it for me.

As I said, it only worked when all my folders were eliminated. Once I finally recreated them, the redrawing came back. This is only a fix for those who have few folders and/or very few items in them. Not worth the trouble for the rest of us.

Let us know if yours changed too - I'd assume they changed the minimum size to be lower.

The pronunciation thing I believe can be fixed.
in the contacts entry, add a new field and choose “name (phonetic)” or (pronunciation) and write it as sounds (maybe Shi or Si? This you will know better haha), then I think Siri will use that to say the name.

That only works if they call so it'll pronounce the name correctly.

If Siri knew it was a name and not Roman numerals then that may have helped, but unfortunately it doesn't.

The upper and lower case should be a clue. Seems fixable.

What car? My Bronco Sport (12.3" screen) has always had 3 widget stacks. Wife's Kia (12" screen) only has 2 widget stacks. Ford SYNC3 (8" screen) only has one stack.

i like the alarms for reminders now. there are some reminders that are basic and don't need them but some are piorant and warm is great.

any idea how to do that using siri ? i rarely create a reminder in the app, i usually tell siri to do it. how to i tell siri to create a reminder but make it the one with the alarm for it as well ?

I’m noticing a double up chevron symbol on all webpages in safari at the bottom right of the screen that scrolls to the top when I tap it. Is that new in this beta or is it a another setting causing this?

Things I have that are still not fixed even in this beta

1. random screen dimming on 15pro

2. iMessage photos do not all show in photo tab. A lot of photos completely missing and blank white squares in photo tab

3. A symbol spinning at the top of a safari page on opening a new page

4. New in this beta is some text replacement I created have disappeared

Ah, that’s a shame. Nissan Rogue 2021, I believe also an 8” screen, could be 7”. FWIW, I’ve had 2 widgets every first beta, and every time they’ve taken it away.

I live in South Korea and I'm using the base model of the iPhone 17. Here in Korea, all models except the Air have a noticeable delay with Ping. How is it for users in other countries?

I set it to 30 seconds and tested it on this site: https://kr.piliapp.com/speed-test/ping/
I got a minimum of 48, a maximum of 576, an average of 290, and a 90% success rate.
Oh, and I’m on cellular, not Wi-Fi.
Anyone from other countries, please try it and let me know your results!

Whoever "re-designed" Safari and the process of opening up all tabs is an.. em I allowed to use profanities on this forum?😟

Why the heck have they now hidden the meny bar where we previously could on an instant press on the "tabs" symbol and have all the tabs?!

Now I have to press three dots, and then "all tabs". Making easy flowing processes into several steps of tapping is brain dead to me...

Same when I highlight something like a text on a site and want to do a search. You now will get a wall of alternative like dictionary, Siri, and then you have to scroll all the way down to get to "Search web" What the actual frick?!
Is there any work arounds for these issues?

Went back to 26.1 (artwork is more important to me than glass lockscreen clock)
