Yeah, "connections". Like they didn't post this article (or a lookalike) early this week expecting a release between Monday and Wednesday (yesterday). Still expecting for a today release.
Then how do they publish the "It's out!" post 10-20 minutes before it's actually released most of the time?
I'd be really surprised if they release on Friday. Every development team knows is like tempting fate.

Apple is now run my the marketing department, not any of the departments that know what they're doing.
Typically they would post this exact article saying to be released today or later this week. This article appears to reset the expectations of their article earlier this week, as It would look awkward to have this article and the very next article be Apple releases 26.2, not saying it won't/can't happen, but it seems unlikely and they seem to know that. And additionally it is now 12 and no updates released by Apple. Maybe they will still come out today, I hope they do.
It won't be Friday ... either today or next week ...
I wish I had that than the bug that uses a different place when I ask for directions home…
Are you talking about the forums or the front page? I see coverage in my 9to5 RSS feed much faster than from this site. Like I am still waiting to see if MacRumors will publish a story about the Disco browser for Mac OS coming from Google that 9to5 and Engadget already published pieces about earlier today.
There’s not a single word about fixing long-standing bugs. Apple seems far more focused on adding new features, which will only introduce even more issues. 🐞
Because Apple wants to grade you on a curve so you love them and ignore their bugs. 😊 with a usb 2 for their base models, they better give me a 98 score. 😂

I thought I would hate it. But I love it for safari. When I scroll down it gets smaller and clear to see more stuff as I scroll. Getting more retail screen space is always a plus. I must be the odd one out here, but I like it
Will Music finally show lyrics for purchased tracks without having a streaming subscription? Makes no sense that those who actually purchase get a far worse experience.
Will the battery life on my 16 Pro Max go back to what it was in September. Used mine fully charged to play music for an hour yesterday. Down to 49% by 5pm with almost no use.
