When using Apple Music with AirPlay on iOS 26.2 (and also iPadOS 26.2), playback audio stops after about two songs, even though the iPhone/iPad shows the next track as playing on lock screen / in Apple Music. If I rewind to the start of the song, the audio comes through the speakers again as expected.

It then plays a couple of tracks and the same thing happens again.

I am streaming to both Sonos and Wiim Pro Plus, both at the same time, but also individually. Same result.

Has anyone else run into this?

While not the same as what you're doing, on iOS 26.2 I can AirPlay podcasts from Overcast to my HomePods without issue. With Apple Music, I tell the HomePod to play directly from Apple Music then I just use my iPhone as a remote. Could you not do that with the Sonos speaker? (Looks like the Wiim Pro Plus doen't support Apple Music directly).
